I came here knowing "something" about SQL, but mostly working on ORMs in my job. I wanted to enhance my knowledge and understand better what does the ORM hide from me and how to use it better. This course has fullfilled my expectations.
There are a few drabacks. Some are minor, like audio quality (the sound of hitting keys may be annoying), some are more serious like the fact that sometimes the course is a bit like documentation - topic 1, topic 2, topic n. Sometimes I had a feeling that my knowledge doesn't build up and I'm about to forget previous lessons. The difficulty was rather steady.
However, I must say that topics that did interest me most like optimization were well explained. I learned how to read plans, how to use indexes etc. I had a feeling that Will really has decent experience with what he does.
To sum up, I do recommend this course. One just needs to keep in mind that some topics will need a lot of own work outside of it. So to answer the "hope you enjoyed it" - yes Will I did. Thank you ;-)

pgadmin installation took me a while

Invaluable course. Lots of material in a nice and structured form.
Nitpicks:
1. I wish example tables were smaller and had fewer columns. That would spare us from typing lots of fields.
2. It would be nice to see a bit more detailed explanations on some hard topics such as recursion.

Although one might wonder how an SQL course be really entertaining, I feel in this course there is no effort to make that any better. The repetitiveness is really bothering me, the examples too dry and uninspiring. Will not follow through here.

J'ai appris beaucoup de choses que je ne connaissais pas en SQL et dcouvert Postgresql que je ne connaissais pas. Je peux dire qu'avec ce cours je suis l'aise pour envisager d'utiliser Postgresql . Les cours sont clairs, dtaills avec beaucoup de pratique et d'exemples. Je suis trs satisfait de ce cours!

The instructor reminds me of every teacher and professor that enjoyed having during my school career. He is smooth, concise, and adds just enough relevant information at the right time to constantly be growing in knowledge. The learning path so far has been building great and I expect the rest of the course will be wonderful as well. I really enjoy this dude. This probably goes for other SQL courses, but I also have to say, that this is one of the easiest courses Ive taken in udemy. Not in terms of the level of challenge, but the ease of crushing sections and not getting ADHD. This course works like constant conversation. You have multiple wins in every single video. This feel like I've picked up a book that is truly addictive and I cant put it down.
