Very nice course. Topics were shown step by step using an incremental hands-on approach. During the code construction sometimes errors were detected, and it was a good way to show how to decode these messages and how to correct them. Concepts are explained in a simple way, and the source code is small and clear in order to demonstrate the related topics. The audio is clear, and the flow of topics were built in a pleasant way.

Good for an overview. Should be more interactive; like have more pause->do_exercise_quiz->continue to ease the learning experience. It drives the student to adopt a "sit and watch" behavior.

The course is very good even though is a bit old for laravel current version. There is still valuable info that you can get from it. Like routing explanation, laravel collective, db orm, midleware. Some more..

A good introductory course - concise but covers a lot of ground. What would be really great would be a laravel course covering version 5.2, showing extended application functionality with things like taking online payments.

By George Udosen on 7/21/2016

The tutor is knowledgeable but a better user / tutor interaction and better help support would bring it to a rating of 4. Again this course is not done with the laravel 5.2 which would be quite a handful for a beginner.

I've taken many Eduonix courses with Brad Traversy. They're all excellent but this one is possibly the best I've done. He breaks down each piece of Laravel and shows how they all interact, in a totally clear and understandable way. The audio quality is great (something I wish more courses would get right). Brad's delivery and course structure are excellent - they should be, he's done dozens of these courses and he really knows what he's doing. It works as a first intro to Laravel without being too elementary (of course you need to know some decent PHP and HTML already). Highly recommended. I feel much more confident about the app I'm building after doing this course!

The instructor clearly walks you through what to do but is short on explaining why. I feel like I can imitate his coding, but not sure that I'm ready to do it all on my own.

Excellent course to start learning Laravel and even I'm using the latest version which is now 5.2, I got no problem at all to follow along with the samples in the course just do a little more reading in Laravel documents for a little changing in Laravel commands. Brad has made this course so easy to learn and it gives me very good foundation to get the overall grasp of Laravel and it really helps me doing my projects.

I really enjoyed the course. The lecturer is giving a very good overview of the framework and he speaks in a clear and understandable English. I think he covers the most important aspects from Laravel. He introduces you to Laravelcollective, Composer, and other useful tools, which can speed up your development speed. At the last section you are going to have a project, where you are going to build a website using the native Laravel authentication, database management, sessions and the blade template engine. I believe, I am confident enough to start building a Laravel application right-away! BUT, bear in mind, that if you are going to start this course you must not install the latest version of the framework. In Laravel 5.2, there are many changes compared to 5.1. However, if you insist on using Laravel 5.2 refer to discussion section, if you have some problems with artisan, routing, authentication, etc. THANKS FOR THE COURSE. :) I hope the lecturer will find time to update his course. If it was about Larave 5.2 I would rated it 5-stars.

I found this course to be very useful, provided the information which is required & handled the class very well in terms of making it interactive. Got what I had came here for..author took his time to explain the concepts
