“While classical Wing Chun was designed to fight against other wing chun practitioners, modern day mixed martial arts has evolved to the point where traditional methods simply no longer work. Sifu David’s unique approach has taken the best wing chun concepts and techniques and modified them to work in today’s real-world self defense environments and fighitng arena.

Unlike many classical wing chun teachers who will purposely withhold the function and real-life application of the forms and techniques, Sifu David reveals them all – in a clear and concise manner.

I can confirm this is the best course for beginner wing chun on this site, its easy to follow, has clear instructions, has the different parts of the intro video broken down, has front and side view for each section then a details section explaining the final form body composition and forms, and the last 2 videos (4 min) are just pure gold in the form of a review where I can just come and watch the posture during the stance and any of the 7 practicing techniques explained

Really great lessons where even this olda bolda yet never any wiser bloke can follow instructor thus enabling me to retain agility and strength whilst, of course, endeavouring to learn (and hopefully retain) some fundamental moves in the Wing Chun form of martial arts. I am able to undertake the full routine as part of my daily exercise regime utilising the stretching methods taught to help this aged bloke maintain some agility as I succumb to the ageing process. Well worth trying and then once daily incorporated all sections taught into one full routine remembering to break it down into sections prior though to improve on technique and suppleness.

definitely yes. do you have resources or the pdf summary of all the forms ( section 1, 2 and 3). This will help in practicing the forms slowly and perfectly. Do you teach the full course including kicks on line ? I also bought your taichi course. Please advise. Thanks.

Hi, first congratulations on this course. The reason for this rating is related to two things; First I did not see any practice after the Sil Lim Tao form, like Pak Sao, Lap Sao, and so on. Second would be better with some self-defense demonstration. That´s why my rating.

David Wong is one of the most incredible and awesome instructors of Martial Arts I have ever seen. He's just down to earth pure what you need to know with no BS is among the best stuff I've ever come across. He knows what he is talking about, makes it easy to understand and learn.

This is an absolutely brilliant course. When I started I lived in an area where no kung fu was available. This course was ;y life line to an art form that I loved. Now I have moved to a new area and this course is an irreplacable compliment to my study. In class the sifu doesn't always have time to explain things and home study is so important to make the best use of your time in class. Thank you Sifu for making this course available and for the supporting facebook group.

Having trained in the Martial Arts both Japanese, Karate, Aikido, Jiu Jutsu and Chinese Win Chung (since 1973) I have run many courses for police personnel in Tactical Communication, Unarmed Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing, Rigid and Expandable baton. Now retired I wanted to resume my interest and personal training in Wing Chun (Sil Lim Tao) and this course refreshed all my previous training and techniques which I had not performed for several years. Thank you Sifu Wong for giving me the opportunity to continue developing my Wing Chun and good health at my own speed into the future.

A great 'Thank You' for this course, as it goes really into the minute details of the form. It was a well needed refresher since learning it several years ago with my WingTsun teacher. Really helpful to remove the little flaws I have accumulated over time. Thanks again, and please keep up the good work. Also enjoying the other application videos greatly.

I have searched all over YouTube looking for step-by-step instructions for the Sil Lim Tao (or Siu Lim Tao) including guidance one proper technique for hand position, stance, intention, etc. AND does so in a methodical way with a pace suited for beginners. This is it. Period.

Instruction in each lesson straightforward, efficient and easy to follow throughout. The introduction guarantees that the student receives a level of martial skill. It actually works and it works for me. Sifu David is best and i recommend others to join this course.
