an older course but you can still follow the code in the latest visual studio, they teacher explains things very clearly and with exercises that help you understand how to structure code correctly and feed variables into methods, I really understood methods and writing to the console! (very clear and easy to follow but USEFUL examples throughout the program that you can elaborate on to do your own stuff). I was doing another C# course but I felt some lessons were skipping minor things in the explanations with examples that weren`t complete or felt confusing, so I fired up this course to see if I could get a better simpler understanding and it works. great! This is my 2nd rating half way through the course and loving it. The example exercises throughout provide and build on each other with clear examples and useful skills where Im constantly realizing how I can apply this to other things I have ideas for.

This is an excellent course in most respects. The author is clearly very knowledgeable, is engaging and gives lots of examples. So why only 3.5 stars?
1) The data on downloading the editor is at least five years out of date
2) There are no real exercises for the student, the author does them all himself
3) The course name refers to C# .NET . Until this time, I don't know what .NET is. It is not explained anywhere.
