I find the course content exciting and correctly chosen. Unfortunately, the contents are not up to date, mostly from 2017. The names of the individual packages that must be installed have often changed. Also, video and accompanying document often differs. Especially section 7 and 8 was hardly possible to handle. Where do I get the IP address of the DHCP server? The IP address of the Fedora server VM was not it in any case or has not worked for me. In general I found the explanation for editing the dhcpd.conf not good enough. Especially since apparently also knowingly an error is hidden in the video. Improvement wish: - Urgent: Re-create sections 7 and 8 and explain where I get the IP address for the DHCP server. - Less urgent: An update of the complete course, since individual contents aren't up to date. It wasn't always clear whether server or workstation was being used in the lesson. In any case, I would be better if you say at the beginning of the videos whether server or workstation will be used. I also miss an explanation at the beginning of the course what exactly the difference between workstation and server is.

Great course. A well-structured introduction to Linux Administration for beginners. Each section of the course provides enough information for further research and study. Thank you.

I have to keep pausing it to try to keep up but most of it's working on my VM. I need to try some of this on my Mint workstation and see how well it carries over.

I started the course and I see that the professor is very active, helpful, polite and patient in Q'&A section. this is very important because they are not all instructors like this. The way of teaching is clear and he even uexplained what to do as soon as the first student reported the problem due to Fedora Linux update that changed some commands. For me really good sign was that he has helped to a student asking instructions how to install Ubuntu and in details in Q&A section. I have not finished the course yet but I have looked if the instructor responds to questions and if he is responsible and I see that he is! I have started quite a few Udemy courses without being able to finish them due to lack of instructor's engagement, but this is not such case. I would like to cooperate with people like him. All the best ! ! ! :-)

I am learning from home sometimes in office and this is an awesome way to get a virtual lab to dive into linux and Professor K delivered it well.
By Joshua Martin on 4/5/2018
Great course, The examples were awesome! I love the labs that accompany the videos as they really give a good "hands-on" approach to everything.

Gostei do curso. Este foi meu primeiro contato com o Fedora, assim tive algumas dificuldades, mas consegui fazer a maioria dos laboratórios. I really enjoyed the course. It was my first contact with Fedora, so I had some trouble with it, but I managed to complete most of the labs.
By Gerardo Gonzalez on 12/6/2017
Very detailed, but need to have some kind of mentions that in the new version of fedora probably this is different here or there, and support those with the lab
