The topics are crisp and clear, focusing only on explaining the commands relevant to the questions. For someone preparing for an interview, this serves as a quick summary of what each command does, allowing them to explore further if more detail is needed.

Good review of the most common questions that might be asked in an interview and about the fundamentals of Linux administration. The answers are short and up to the point and only common general use topics are covered, not specific techniques, software or services. The course is not a substitute for a study of more in depth documentation (e.g. books, manuals, specific tutorials), but one can still learn something new, refresh and test the personal knowledge. Almost all of the technical questions are accompanied by practical simple examples and written notes. So, the course fairly offers what the title promises.

Great course. It has a lot of basic things too, like how to create a file, etc but you can ignore them. Overall, the course contains a lot of useful things.

This is simply the best interview prep course I have ever seen or taken. It is beating out even in person prep sessions! Incredible thus far and I am only 15% in to the course!
By Joel Stroback on 5/14/2021
It was mainly a review for me however, I did learn things that I didn't know before. It really tied some loose ends together. I recommend taking this course to anyone preparing for a Linux technical interview.

As someone already used to Linux OS, I found the course very engaging and easy to follow especially if you're new to Linux. The tutors both explain in detail which gives better understanding of the concepts and command usage

The course is really good and useful for cracking the technical interviews.I thank the instructor for providing such a wonderful course.
By Ottavio Caruso on 7/31/2019
Five starts for the effort; 2.5 for the delivery. The material offered is overwhelming, but this is not necessarily a good thing. There's no structure. The more technical lessons were places at the beginning; the easier ones near the end. Most lessons sounded rushed up, superficial and narrated not very professionally. A lot of "look it up on the Internet" doesn't make sense on a course that is marketed at $199 (but I got it for free, so I can't really complain). Most commands were run as root, which is deprecated; 'sudo' should have been used instead.
By John Kee on 5/21/2018
It fully covers the questions as set out in the description of the course, with a clear and measured delivery. I think it could be improved by the addition of an answer sheet of the commands used. However would the videos be watched if it was provided? The videos could be edited some more to remove the mistypes and typos but perhaps the author felt showing common mistakes would help students. On some of the videos there was some background sounds that distracted from the course delivery (e.g. Windows mail notifications) The speech of the Instructor was still clear over these random sounds but I did find it a slight distraction.
