I really like how you showed the camera controls in your presentation and your explanations - some of the explanations could be shorter and more to the point but generally the best way i have seem for explaining different functions and procedures = would like to have seen more about finishing the photo in photoshop or lightroom -

This course has filled in the blanks in my knowledge on long exposure photography. It has been a far more effective way to learn than searching YouTube videos. I feel better prepared now to go out and capture better and more interesting long exposures. Thank you for the course.

I completed the course, i had big expectations, but the course fell short a bit. The introduction of gears was good and earlier part was good. But at places it felt that the chapters were too long without much technical details so those part can be made short. I felt it is a course much for a beginner in long exposure photography.

I learned the steps and the how-to’s were that is involved in taking long exposure pictures. The course covered what settings to use in my camera, which some of them I did not know anything about until this course. It also went in depth about the aperture, F-stops, manual settings, ISO and ND filters. The instructor did an excellent job in discussing aperture, manual settings within the camera, F-stops, ISO and ND filters. He discussed early morning, daytime, evening and night time photo shoots at length. What I found that could be beneficial would be to cover/explain the how-to’s of these settings in medium frame cameras. All I have is a medium frame camera and I am still learning how to use it to its fullest capabilities. Otherwise, this course was very helpful and excellent. More exercises would also be helpful, as an example, getting the students to take at least one long exposure photo to submit for evaluation. This would give students real time practice of what we have just learned in the course.

The information in this course has been really useful to me as someone new to long exposure photography. It's given me the confidence to get started real time now that I understand what the different settings might be and what filters etc to use! Thanks very much guys!

Watching the videos makes me want to get out and shoot more long exposures. I live a long way from the ocean, so the waves portion doesn't apply to me as much as for those who live along the seacoast. I thought that the video presentation was well done, though, at first, I was a bit confused by the assignments. This is a course on long exposure photography, not post-processing, so I was a bit confused by that. I would have thought the assignment would have been to go out and do a long exposure, or something related to long exposure and not post-processing someone else's work. There are other courses that cover post processing much more thoroughly. Listening to the presenter sort of calculate exposure was okay, but to the novice, I'm sure it is confusing. He talked minimally of stops and how to calculate them. Maybe a handout on exposure would be appropriate to augment the course. I also found the gear acquisition syndrome distracting. “Really Right Stuff” is top of the line, which is ok, but there are other brands that are more than adequate for this purpose as well. Nobody will argue the need for a good sturdy tripod, but there are other options that are more affordable, especially for the beginner. All in all, I felt it was a good start, but is a work in progress.

The course is complete and full of useful informations for every person that wants to approach, increase or study long exposure in photography. I learned a lot, I had so much fun, hope to see Robert Warren in other courses. I really enjoyed all the classes. It would be perfect if you could increase the volume of the audio. Thank you so much

Great Course with most of the Long Exposure Situations covered. But You could add more examples of different Locations. And you really should add that kind of milkyway and star longexposures with only stars and together with some buildings at night. It's really a good course so far, but i like your portrait Course more :)
