Looker and LookML - The Complete Course for Beginners (Udemy.com)

This is a good course for beginners. It would be really helpful if you could add one section to build a small Looker project end-to-end from scratch. Means how to connect Big Query or any other source to the Looker and then design a small model and create a visualization. I hope that will give beginners a bit more confidence. Thank you for the wonderful course.

The course is well structured and comprehensively communicates the functionality of Looker. The biggest standout are the visualisation (2) and custom fields (3) specifically, group items (30) custom binning (31). Looking forward to the reminder of the course

Great and very informative course that will get provide most things you need to know to get up to speed on all things Looker. I've not given 5 stars as I wished for a more hands-on approach to learning as I find that far more effective. It would have been 5 star course if there were exercises and solutions to those exercises which would have really helped cement each core concept.

This is an excellent course if you are new to Looker and even if it's been some time since you've used Looker. By the end of the course you should have a solid understanding of Looker architecture in order to apply and manage business related data. The course is not intended to cover someone's specific use case, but the course will cover the basics so you know what to look for next. I appreciated how George incorporated ways to get help outside the course so you aren't alone. Great course, highly recommended A+!

It's nice very easy, he goes through every single field in looker. If you are a dev you might get a bit bored since it is so granular. I like it tho. I do have access issues in LookML at times with read only access. Not sure what to do about that. I have tried different labs

Does what it says on the tin, a complete course for Beginners to Looker and LookML. This is course if, you set the speed to x2, you could go through one weekend and be ready to tackle Looker for the start of the week. If you're new to BI tools and Looker this would be the course for you, however if you're experienced with Looker previously, you may find this course quite thin. The Instructor was clear in his explanations, and was easy to follow.

The course is a great introduction to Looker. It is simple, quite moderate in the complexity and it is useful. One remark to the potential users is that it is really troublesome to access the Looker temporary sessions at Google Cloud Skills Boost. Google do not help us to practice with the new tool. Anyway, it was a great introduction to Looker and the LookML.

As a Tableau developer coming over to Looker I was very skeptical about the BI Tool, however after taking this course it feels like a very smooth transition for me as I will now be using it for work. Highly recommend taking this course if you are new to Looker and definitely if you are someone who used Tableau prior to this BI Tool.
