Course Description
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
What is the aim of this course?
The success of many companies depends on figuring out a clever way to grow, earn, or operate that will drastically change the game and stack the cards in their favor. Many interesting business hacks give this result. In this lecture, I will show you how one such business tactic – the low-cost model has been successfully implemented in many businesses. This powerful tactic has already disrupted many industries like airlines, hotels, and retail. One of the best-known examples is IKEA, Southwest, and Ryanair
This course is based on my 15 years of experience as a consultant in top consulting firms and as a Board Member responsible for strategy, performance improvement, and turnarounds in the biggest firms from the Retail, FMCG, SMG, B2B, and services sectors that I worked for. I have carried out or supervised over 90 different performance improvement projects in different industries that generated a total of 2 billion of additional EBITDA. On the basis of what you will find in this course, I have trained in person over 100 consultants, business analysts, and managers who are now Partners in PE and VC funds, Investment Directors and Business Analysts in PE and VC, Operational Directors, COO, CRO, CEO, Directors in Consulting Companies, Board Members, etc. On top of that, my courses on Udemy have already been taken by more than 370000 students, including people working in EY, Walmart, Booz Allen Hamilton, Adidas, Naspers, Alvarez & Marsal, PwC, Dell, Walgreens, Orange, and many others.
In this course, apart from the case studies of companies that implemented a low-cost model, I will show you the math behind the low-cost model that fuels the whole business and makes it so successful.
In what way will you benefit from this course?
The course is a practical, step-by-step guide loaded with tons of tricks, hints, and examples that will show you where you can go with your business. There is little theory – mainly examples, a lot of tips from my own experience, as well as other notable examples worth mentioning. My intention is that thanks to the course, you will know:
1. How low cost model work?
2. How should you build it in your industry?
3. Where do you have to look for improvements to be competitive?
4. How to estimate your competitive advantage using data from your industry?
You can also ask me any questions either through the discussion mode or by messaging me directly.
I will produce the necessary content and share it with you
How is the course organized?
The course is divided into 3 sections, and I will be adding new sections to address other important issues. Currently, you will find the following sections:
Introduction. I begin with a little intro to the course as well as to the low-cost model
Examples of Low-Cost Models. Here, I show examples of low-cost models from different industries. You will also find links to a lot of additional materials that should help you in building your business.
Math behind the low-cost model. In this section, I will show you what drives the economics of the low-cost model. I will show you, using the airlines' examples, how low-cost carriers differ in comparison with regular players

The course is interesting but the case studies are too conceptual. The course is aimed at startups / entrepreneurs, but then shows models for Starbucks and Ikea. That is like showing the first 2 minutes and final score of a football match. I was looking for a course that shows "how to", not "what can be"

it was short and useful course but it did not look very much deep ...I considered it JUST an introductory course to low cost model of business ..

This is a highly summarised information about the secret behind the top businesses running the low cost models; Asen Gyczew presents it as efficiently as what a management consultant naturally does! (I know this trait from his own teaching on the other course). And this course content went beyond my expectation, so I learned a lot and ended up taking many notes. The reason for the 4.5 stars, though, is only due to a minor factor: his pronunciation, which starts to make the teaching a bit unclear when played 1.5 times faster. If there were subtitle provided to support this condition, Asen Gyczew deserves 5 stars! Thank you, Sir.

Excellent overview of setting up and running a low-cost business operation. Good examples given in terms of small- to medium-sized businesses in existence.
