Course Description

Hi everyone. This course is about how Generative AI (GenAI) can be useful for a Manual Software Tester or a Tester who would like to automate with the help of AI.

The course will be useful for testers:

  • Absolute beginners in Software Testing who want to learn the usage of one of the most popular Generative AI tools(ChatGPT/Cursor) for Manual and Automation Testing

  • Experienced Manual Software Testers who want to learn how to automate test cases with the help of ChatGPT in a short time

  • Anyone who wants to take the first steps in Software Automation Testing with the help of ChatGPT

  • Anyone who wants to take the first steps in Software Automation Testing with the help of Cursor AI

To help you understand how and whether we need Generative AI (ChatGPT) for testing, we have prepared two parts of our course:
Since the course is about how to use AI for testing, in the introductory lectures, you will get acquainted with:
1. The Evolution of Generative AI
2. What is an AI Agent?

Afterward, we learn how to use Generative AI (GenAI) (ChatGPT/Cursor IA) for Manual Software Testing

In particular, we will familiarize ourselves with such aspects of using ChatGPT for Manual Software Testing as:

1. Review Software Business Requirements

2. Assistance with building the Test Plan

3. Assistance with test monitoring and control

4. Assistance with Test Design of manual test cases

5. Assistance with writing a bug report

6. Assistance in API testing

7. Assistance in creating test tables, lists

8. Assistance in writing SQL queries

9. Assistance with Data Generation

Each of these aspects of using ChatGPT for software testing is shown in real-life examples to better understand the purpose of using this tool.

Also, in the course, we will discuss the top 3 AI alternatives to ChatGPT for Software Testing. In particular, we will take a look at alternatives such as Bard AI (By Google), Bing AI (By Microsoft), and Chatsonic AI by Writesonic

In this course, a manual QA Engineer can learn how to successfully write and then run the test script for the desired test case within one or a few days.

For that reason, we have prepared the Second part of the course, How to use Generative AI (GenAI) (ChatGPT/Cursor AI) for Automation Software Testing

In particular, you will review the lectures for the different automation tools using various programming languages:

Each lecture from the part of the course on using Generative AI (GenAI) (ChatGPT/Cursor AI)for automation software testing is shown on our website, where we created separate components to show everything in practice. For each of our lessons, we created a separate class in the IntelliJ IDEA Integrated Development Environment for the Selenium/Java lectures, Visual Studio Code for the Playwright/JavaScript lectures, and Cursor AI for Playwright/JavaScript lectures. So it will be easier for you to find the code you need in the future.

The final code will be available in the lecture materials, on our website, and in the case of  Playwright/JavaScript lectures on GitHub. We can open our webpage, run it, and check the results using this code.

We hope you will enjoy the course, and feel free to write reviews and send topics that you would like to see.

I really like this course. It is very easy to understand, with a great way of explaining all the steps. The visualization is excellent, the video demonstrations are very helpful, and the instructor has a clear and pleasant voice :) Thank you very much for the course.

AI generated audio with pronunciation errors sounds a bit weird . Course content is too wide for my needs.

By Elavarasan . on 11/8/2025

ChatGPT supports testers in multiple ways — from understanding requirements and generating detailed test cases to suggesting test data, automation code, and defect summaries.

By Jacqueline Raetz on 8/27/2025

Very thorough and full of information. I highly recommend for anyone, especially those in the QA software testing field needing to expand their knowledge in AI.

By Yaroslava Grats on 6/13/2025

This is by far the best course I've ever taken! The material is incredibly well-structured, making it easy to follow and absorb. The exercises are thoughtfully designed to reinforce understanding and help memorize the concepts effectively. What stood out the most was the visualization — it’s perfect and truly brings the content to life. Overall, the course provides an exceptional learning experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to master the subject matter!

This course is great for the ones who are new in software testing industry. It gives hints and a vision on how to get help from chatgpt while carrying out testing activities and also gives a lot of information about test automation. The parts where it does installations may be skipped for the ones who already know these information but for the ones who will be doing it for the first time it is really great! As a software test engineer who have experience on test automations this course had reminded me that I can get help from chatgpt if I got stuck in to some problem.

By Tomas Borgon on 7/12/2024

The whole Lecture could be done in 10-15 minutes. The Headline shouldn't even mention ChatGPT, because teaching manual and Automation Software Testing and after each step saying: "You can also ask chatgpt for help" is imho not with help of ChatGPT. There are many better lectures for Software Testing on Udemy.

By Ramon Fernandez Prats on 6/8/2024

Because I like very much the graphics used in the presentation , and the way they prove to me that CHATGPT really works for my test cases . I just wish there was another tutorial like this one but for JavaSript and PLAYWRIGHT and how to use JIRA and write test case using CHAGPT FOR TEST CASES witing using Excel .xls spreadsheets ....that will be awesome ..!!

By Violeta Dimitrova on 11/30/2023

Thanks for the course! It is helpful, with good explanations and really good visualized which is very convenient and practical for fast learning.
