Very thorough explanation of docker container management for java spring boot developers. Lots of different docker image creation techniques covered. Very interesting part about docker-compose in connection to microservices. The microservices are simple enough to see the big picture on how service discovery and api gateway works. Was also very glad to see a good example of using feign client and eureka-server in the docker environment. Would recommend this course for those who want to know more about running microservices in the docker environment and be better prepared for more advanced courses on deploying microservices in different environments. Must have for those developers who want to master more advanced topics on deploying microservices in the cloud.
One small wish: I was trying a lot of courses on microservices with docker and so far this is the best course I found. But one really interesting topic is missing: How to write end-to-end and acceptance tests for microservices in the docker environment and add them to the maven build pipeline. So far, I was only be able to run end-to-end microservice tests with docker-compose, but it required using "docker-compose up" command before running the tests. It would be really interesting to see how to write such tests as part of the maven build pipeline, using realistic service-to-service communication in the docker environment + cucumber microservice acceptance testing best practices in the docker environment.
There are really not many examples in the internet on microservices end-to-end testing. It is a common opinion, that end-to-end tests are not important and more time should be spent on unit testing, independent deployment of microservices by different teams and mocking the services, written by other teams. But when it comes to behaviour-driven development it is really important to see the big picture with end-to-end acceptance tests in the local but as close to production as possible environment. Spring Boot and Docker containers are great tools for such testing, but you will not see many interesting examples and best practices.

The course is very good.But it would be better to explain why part as well.For example in CMD vs ENTRYPOINT, we should prefer ENTRYPOINT over CMD but why part is not explained.

Overall course is good covered all components what we using in Microservices. Still need to cover more like logger and need explanation purpose of the command, example why we need to define "container_name" in docker-compose.yml file for zipkin configuration, this kind of explanation is missing.
Anyway thanks for your effort, i got good knowledge about Docker using this course.
