Course Description

Welcome to the most comprehensive iOS course, covering everything you need for iOS app development. This course was specifically designed to guide you from an absolute beginner to a senior iOS developer. Rather than hop from one iOS course to the next to fill knowledge gaps, you'll find everything you need in one place.

This course teaches both UIKit and SwiftUI. UIKit is the established framework used to build iOS apps and remains particularly job-relevant, with an estimated 70% to 80% of companies still requiring it. SwiftUI represents the future of iOS app development and is rapidly gaining adoption, especially among startups. You can choose to learn both frameworks or focus on just one. Whether you're joining this course to land a job that requires UIKit or planning to build your own apps with SwiftUI, this course adapts to your goals.

This course is ideal if you've never developed an app before. It begins with the fundamentals and progresses at a steady pace toward more advanced topics. The curriculum I use here has been refined through hundreds of one-on-one mentorship sessions with my students. It features code-thinking techniques illustrated with animations, and emphasizes hands-on app building over theory to keep you engaged.

Practice makes perfect. That's why this course includes over 18 production-grade apps you'll build to gain the hands-on experience needed for real-world development. You'll create a diverse range of applications, including an e-commerce app with Apple Pay, a location-based app using the Google API, an AI-powered homework assistant, and much more. By building production-grade apps, you'll learn how to create real-world applications, not just tutorial projects. Each app follows industry-standard coding conventions and design principles.

AI and machine learning are the cornerstone of today's modern apps. This course features dedicated modules on AI and machine learning development. You'll learn how to implement existing machine learning models, train your own models, and integrate LLMs like ChatGPT to create AI-enhanced applications.

Whether you're aiming to launch your career as an iOS developer, create your own apps, or modernize your development skills, this course provides you with the complete toolkit you need. I've designed every aspect of this course—from the project-based learning approach to the comprehensive curriculum—to transform you into a confident and capable iOS developer. The App Store is waiting for your next great idea, and this course will help you bring it to life. Enroll today!

I wanted to learn about SwiftUI early 2026 and started several courses on Udemy. I regularly get into new platforms/frameworks and programming languages. This felt never that difficult as it did for SwiftUI. One of the main reasons for me was that all the courses I found on Udemy seemed to be surface level, unstructured or outdated. Providing little to no background or explanation just demonstration. When I finally found this course I was positively surprised. The instructor seems experienced and understands how to structure and explain the content. I am very satisfied with this course and recommend it over all the other courses I have looked at. Thank you!

Very thorough and good teacher. He actually takes time to explain. I've taken other courses where they just type code, and there is little explanation. Learning a lot. I am needing to learning UIKit because I'm modifying old iOS code, and so far it's great. Getting the fundamentals.

For now i just finished with the UIKIT part. The pluses of the course is that the author of that course is explaining very well, give you examples so you understand how a functionality works. Even thought some sections are not complete, it gives you freedom to finish the work, look for the information and learn from that by yourself. Would like to see here some work with APIS but again, i will look into this by myself. Good luck to everybody!

Until now I have to say a really good course. I like the way he explains the things . I also like the topics he covers in his course. There are courses that are even better rated than his, but I still think this course is better. As far as I'm concerned, he could have left out the UIKit part and instead used in-depth knowledge of SwiftData (I have another course here), or uploading the app to the App Store in general. But in total I can say thank you for your time

While many others have said, the organization could definitely use work, but otherwise, the course is excellent so far. He's a good teacher, he obviously knows what he's talking about and he'd good at explaining it.

VG

Mr. Gwinyai Nyatsoka is a knowledgable instructor and this is an excellent course packed with useful content. I love every aspect, from its minimalistic approach (no waiting through intro jingles and similar distractions) to the skillfully chosen depth and breadth of Gwinyai’s explanations. For the first time since Dr. Angela Yu, who set the bar incredibly high, I feel like concepts are explained thoroughly, not just mentioned with an unspoken nudge to figure them out elsewhere. Don’t get me wrong: I’m happy to read extra materials and experiment on my own, and I do most of the time. But piecing together bits of information from here and there is time-consuming and distracting compared to a lesson where all the concepts are clearly explained together. And sometimes even days of reasearch do not bring me closer where a well-thought lesson could do in a few minutes. This course delivers clear, comprehensive answers, and I’m learning a ton. It also serves as a great reference source I imagine I can always get back to again when needed thanks to how it is structured. Thank you!

I didn't like how the course started at all, but it quickly became really good and one of my favorite courses I'm taking so far. I will say, though, that the order in which the instructor presents each lesson is, in my opinion, not done very well. I believe the UIKit lessons should come first, then SwiftUI lessons, or at least when the instructor defines what each one is, and their recommendation on which one you should take first should be one of the first lessons presented. It would be clearer to the first-time learner that way.

This course exemplifies what a high-quality learning experience should be. In my opinion, many courses lack a deep dive into the underlying principles and reasons behind how things work. As an experienced software engineer, I firmly believe that a solid foundation in the basics is essential for grasping advanced concepts. If you understand the fundamental principles, you’ll have a much greater chance of understanding complex ideas. On the other hand, many other courses focus solely on the "how," providing step-by-step instructions without explaining the underlying concepts. While you may feel a sense of accomplishment for building something, you won't have truly learned anything. If you try to repeat the same steps, you'll realize that you've merely memorized the process, lacking a genuine understanding. The instructor in this course is exceptional. He not only explains the "why" but also has a clear and engaging voice, making the content easy to understand. As someone new to iOS and macOS development, I’m glad I purchased this course. I’ve also bought several other courses in the past, but this one stands out as a significant improvement in terms of explanation and teaching.

I've bought 3 top selling ios development courses having 70+ hours of content in each of them, by far this course is amazing and on top of the list cuz its covers the fundamentals like no other did and covers all important topics in order to become a good ios developer who knows each concept in depth and to the point. I highly recommend this course to everyone. Thank you for creating this course.
