I’ve used OneNote for years, or rather, I’ve "tried" to. I’ve always struggled to understand how to apply it effectively in my business, in my studies, and while taking other courses. That’s why I enrolled in this course: I hoped it would finally answer those questions. After all, how could I go wrong with a course called “Master Microsoft OneNote: The Ultimate Course”? Surprisingly, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing courses I’ve taken. If it had been titled “Introduction to Microsoft OneNote,” I would have given it a full five stars. But as a “master” course, it falls far short. One of my biggest challenges with OneNote has always been understanding when to use group sections versus sections, and pages versus subpages. The course simply points out that these features exist, without explaining their purpose, how to apply them, or why you would choose one structure over another. There’s almost no discussion of the "why" behind anything, aside from explaining why you might use a password. Even worse, there’s no real-world application. I’m no further ahead now than before I started. In fact, if I had watched this course to decide whether OneNote was worth using for my business, I would have concluded that it’s completely useless. What would have made a difference? I once watched a single YouTube video from a university student demonstrating how they used OneNote for their studies. It was excellent, and it convinced me that OneNote could be useful for learning programming, especially with the available add‑ons. But I also take non‑programming courses, and I haven’t found good examples of how OneNote can support those either. And when it comes to business use? I’ve found almost nothing. If the author of this course had created a fictitious business and demonstrated how to apply OneNote while taking business notes, organizing information, and managing tasks, it could have been a perfect course. I’ve taken many courses over the years, university, college, and private training. The best one I ever took had us create a full newsletter while learning every feature of the software. It was practical, hands‑on, and genuinely useful. That’s exactly the kind of approach this OneNote course needed. If the course wasn't so boring I could have finished it in time to ask for my money back. MY LOSS!

This course is ideal for anyone looking to learn OneNote, and it is divided into practical sections that help build knowledge and confidence in creating and customizing notebooks tailored to your needs.

The course is pretty good. only missing thing was sharing links and notebooks that you where using for the course. therefore only 4,5 stars

I've been using One Note for several years, but after taking this course I see how much more efficient I can make my work flow. It opened up several new possibilities. Great instructor, great pacing, material always very clear.

Very good course for a beginner / intermediate. This course has contributed to my confidence in using this application. The pace was good and the explanations to each of the topics discussed were thorough.

Very well done, albeit a bit fast. Not a big problem, however as I just pause. The notes are helpful, and the instructions are clear thanks to a brief review of what was taught, and intro to the next section. "Tell them what you are going to teach them, teach them, tell them what you've taught them."

This course is by far the best course for learning how to take notes in OneNote. Not only does the instructor go over everything you need to know to start taking digital notes, but she also has a great knack for walking you through every ribbon and tab on OneNote. I highly recommend this course, and it definitely deserves 5 stars.

Excellent, step-by-step course on the functions of OneNote. The course was easy to follow, and the instructor was engaging. One minor area of improvement would be to update some of the modules to reflect the more recent changes that have been made to the OneNote interface.

Super happy with the course, big thanks to Deb! This course is perfect for beginners. All important features are explained in a very understandable way. The quizzes are a bit short and some kind of exercises would have been a nice add-on - but I recommend it nonetheless.
