Explanation and the examples he is giving during teaching was very excellent. The slang which he is using is amazing and very easily understandable.

Its only the simple steps of upgrade. No explanation over the parameter files and listener for new oracle home. Pls add some lecture for parameter file explanation and listener configuration during upgrade. Regards, Pritesh Ranjan

Goes beyond just implementing the project but gives insights into how the planning is done. that is something most courses fail to present.

It was a good explanation and demonstration. He discussed direct and valuable points which are pretty similar to real-time upgrade activity. This demonstration will help one to perform real-time upgrade though it would differ. Thanks!

This guy knows what he is teaching . Pretty experienced , very clear instructions on upgrades. "Two thumbs up" !!! Since I see your courses are mostly on advanced topics , if I may suggest on a topic for the next course to the INstructor :- 1.Migration of RAC,DATAGAURD dbs from non-Linux to Linux Servers using dbmsfiletransfer ,transportable tsps . Overall ,a great investment for me on this course .

The explanation of why we perform the P.O.C. is clear and comprehensible. I understand now why the steps are necessary.

Trainer should provide more details on how much time the upgrade will take for a big DB and for small DB? What exactly oracle does during upgrad? For a big DB user data - compiling invalids will take more time etc??

While the conversation is interesting I the instructor said that its not possible to demonstrate an upgrade. In fact using virual box, it is totally possible and i’d argue expected that an upgrade be performed. The second section was significantly better than the first.
