Course Description
Unlock the Power of Generative AI
In the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence, the ability to communicate effectively with AI systems is becoming a critical skill. Prompt engineering is becoming an essential as it acts as the bridge between human intent and artificial intelligence, enabling us to effectively guide AI systems to produce meaningful, accurate, and relevant responses. With AI models like ChatGPT being capable of processing vast amounts of information, the quality of their output largely depends on how well prompts are crafted.
This training is a hands-on course designed to empower you with the tools and techniques to craft precise, effective prompts that harness the full potential of large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT and Google Gemini.
A Simple Framework
We will explore and use a simple yet powerful framework for building highly effective prompts. The framework is based on six building blocks: instruction, context, examples, persona, format and tone.
Most Practical Methods
In the second part of the course, we will review the top practical prompt engineering methods that will be useful to handle more complex use cases and tasks.

I did understand in this first part of the class that the description of the context in which the prompt is used is therefore a critical factor in using AI chatbot.

The way prompt chaining & knowledge generation as a pre-step taught was awesome ,and framework of Instruction,Context,Examples,Persona,Format,Tone was awesome.

A great dive into the importance of AI prompting. This will prove to be very helpful when trying to get more accurate information with pinpoint targeting on what you need AI to do.

I have some self-taught experience with LLMs, but I found this primer and very practical example uses provided very helpful and learned a few new things. Good place to start.

I like this Prompt Engineering course! The lessons were clear, fun, and incredibly practical, making complex ideas feel simple and approachable. What I enjoyed most was how creatively the course explained real-world applications. One of my favorite takeaways was learning how tiny prompt changes make a big difference. For example, instead of asking: “Explain prompt engineering.” the course taught us to ask something like: “Explain prompt engineering like you’re a stand-up comedian trying to make a sleepy developer laugh at 2 AM.” The result? Better answers and better laughs! Overall, this course was insightful, enjoyable, and confidence‑boosting. I walked away smiling and actually excited to experiment with prompts. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn prompt engineering the smart (and happy) way!

Yes it does a good job of explaining how to construct prompts for effective AI output. It is similar to the process of writing good requirements for software and good web searches, which are already intuitive for me, but it is useful to have it defined in terms of AI LLM usage.

A good basic course that gives ideas about how to give prompts. You will learn how to give better prompts using the methods suggested. In case the instructor would have added some roleplay it would have been better in a course like this one.

So far the material is too basic for my needs. I already have a background in creating and using prompts. The examples herein are generic and not technology based (i.e. focused on coding.)

This is really a nice basic course on anyone who want to learn how to write good prompts or how different methods are suitable to various use cases of day-to-day personal or professional work. Kudos to the creator. Simple and crisp.
