I did understand in this first part of the class that the description of the context in which the prompt is used is therefore a critical factor in using AI chatbot.

The way prompt chaining & knowledge generation as a pre-step taught was awesome ,and framework of Instruction,Context,Examples,Persona,Format,Tone was awesome.

A great dive into the importance of AI prompting. This will prove to be very helpful when trying to get more accurate information with pinpoint targeting on what you need AI to do.

I have some self-taught experience with LLMs, but I found this primer and very practical example uses provided very helpful and learned a few new things. Good place to start.

For example, instead of asking: “Explain prompt engineering.” the course taught us to ask something like: “Explain prompt engineering like you’re a stand-up comedian trying to make a sleepy developer laugh at 2 AM.” The result? Yes it does a good job of explaining how to construct prompts for effective AI output. It is similar to the process of writing good requirements for software and good web searches, which are already intuitive for me, but it is useful to have it defined in terms of AI LLM usage.

A good basic course that gives ideas about how to give prompts. You will learn how to give better prompts using the methods suggested. In case the instructor would have added some roleplay it would have been better in a course like this one.

So far the material is too basic for my needs. I already have a background in creating and using prompts. The examples herein are generic and not technology based (i.e. focused on coding.)

This is really a nice basic course on anyone who want to learn how to write good prompts or how different methods are suitable to various use cases of day-to-day personal or professional work. Kudos to the creator. Simple and crisp.

This course is very good for beginner and even for AI Daily user, it expand your mind to know how to get the maximum value of using AI, Highly recommended for beginners
