Course Description
Brand new course ready for the 2023 hiring season! Join a live online community of over 900,000+ engineers and a course taught by industry experts that have actually worked both in Silicon Valley and Toronto at top tech firms. Graduates of ZTM courses are now working at Google, Tesla, Amazon, Apple, IBM, JP Morgan, Meta + other top tech companies.
This is one student 1 month after taking this course:
"I joined the course when it came out, and after a couple of months studying, practice, and more practice, losing sleep and everything I'm proud to say that I got an offer from GOOGLE!! I still can't believe it, it's incredibly surreal. And I can't thank you and this entire community enough for what you've given me. This year is notorious for how tumultuous it's been, but it's seriously has been a test from the first second of this year.. I've shed many, many tears these past 12 months and could write a book on the experience this year. but i just want to Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing me (and this community) the resources needed to realize my potential that I honestly never saw in myself.. and now that I know i can get this far, I know that this is only the beginning.."
Want to land a job at a great tech company like Google, Microsoft, Meta, Netflix, Amazon, or other companies but you are intimidated by the interview process and the coding questions? Do you find yourself feeling like you get "stuck" every time you get asked a coding question? This course is your answer. Using the strategies, lessons, and exercises in this course, you will learn how to land offers from all sorts of companies. This is the ultimate resource to prepare you for coding interviews. Everything you need in one place!
The goal of the course isn't to tell you: "Do 100 interview questions and hope you memorize their answers." NO! Our goal is to use the hand selected common interview questions to give you a framework to answer ANY interview question that these companies may throw at you. Instead of trying to memorize common questions, we teach you the principles and fundamentals that you can use to notice certain common patterns in questions so that any question that you get, you have a framework to answer and be confident in your programming interview.
You will also get access to our private online community with thousands of developers online to help you get through the course and the interview!
Here is what you will learn to use in this course while answering the interview questions step by step with us:

Andrei is the instructor of the highest rated Web Development course on Udemy as well as one of the fastest growing. His graduates have moved on to work for some of the biggest tech companies around the world like Apple, Google, JP Morgan, IBM, etc... He has been working as a senior software developer in Silicon Valley and Toronto for many years, and is now taking all that he has learned, to teach programming skills and to help you discover the amazing career opportunities that being a developer allows in life.
Having been a self taught programmer, he understands that there is an overwhelming number of online courses, tutorials and books that are overly verbose and inadequate at teaching proper skills. Most people feel paralyzed and don't know where to start when learning a complex subject matter, or even worse, most people don't have $20,000 to spend on a coding bootcamp. Programming skills should be affordable and open to all. An education material should teach real life skills that are current and they should not waste a student's valuable time. Having learned important lessons from working for Fortune 500 companies, tech startups, to even founding his own business, he is now dedicating 100% of his time to teaching others valuable software development skills in order to take control of their life and work in an exciting industry with infinite possibilities.

It's a good course on broad essentials. I really enjoyed how first chapters had all I wanted and needed. Later chapters contain small mistakes that aren't fixed on udemy version of this course and also less details. Little chapters on dynamic programming - very disappointing fact, but course gives you links to more problems and a topic with patterns, which is cool, but still...

I was searching for a structured course with increasing difficulty that will help me prepare for good product company interviews. I was going in circles doing it myself and following other guides/lists to begin with. And thats when i decided on this course !!! And I Loved that decision Note to others: THIS COURSE ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH TO GET INTO MAANG/FAANG. BUT This course sets you up so you can take the right steps to do so. It gives you the thought process - how to approach a problem, the steps involved in breaking it down and it does cover the most popular techniques AKA algorithms. The remaining practice of where to implement these algorithms comes through YOUR OWN practice and getting your hands dirty. I have already recommended this ZTM course to a bunch of people who like me are trying to crack the interviews of the best tech companies in the world

I was looking for a course to remember my cs data structures and algorithms foundations. This course offered me more than I expected. Every leetcode question is backed by indepth theory behind it, so that you don't think about memorizing, but actually start thinking through a set of steps and with a solid foundation how to tackle each problem.

Amazing course that really covers gives a good foundational understanding of the various data structures you need to know as a Software Engineer. I will continue to use this course as a reference in the future, but it has definitely given me the confidence needed to start trying to tackler interview questions. Thanks!

I'm very thankful that I decided to take this course before I started blindly doing Leetcode without knowing how to think logically. Because if I just went to do Leetcode and tried to learn from other people's solutions, I would not only learn nothing but also destroy all of the confidence I had. So, taking this course is really worth it. Although whenever I moved on to the next question in the course, I felt it was very challenging to me. But that means it pushed me to edge of my ability limit, and helped me actually gain new knowledge. Yihua is an excellent instructor. His explanation is really clear and easy to understand. This course really helped me develop logical thinking and build confidence and courage to go to medium questions directly.

I have purchased this course without much hesitation because I trust these 2 instructors. I have learned React fundamentals thanks to these instructors and I was able to get my first internship. A year passed, and now I am here looking to gain confidence in technical questions and get a FANNG internship. I have just started the course, and will update accordingly for any advice or suggestion. Keep coding :D Update: I have just finished the course. Took about 3 weeks because of school and work but it was worth the time. I would recommend this course for anyone who is serious about getting their FAANG jobs, because they teach you one of the most paramount skills you have to master for these interviews -- the logical thinking process to get to an answer. This course is of course not perfect, there were some questions where the explanation of the solution's time complexity was either wrong or misleading, and the response rate has dropped significantly since the release. But nonetheless, this is a 5-star course for you to get started with FAANG interview prep. Now, go slay those interviews.

Honestly, it's the best course to study for a technical interview. You will get 2-4 questions per data structure, you will learn how to solve specific problems, methodologies, and by the end of the course solving the questions will become way easier because you will develop the problem solving framework. Explanations are clear and simple too. This course alone might be able to help you pass your technical interview but I still would recommend doing problems on your own and do company tagged questions for best results! Highly Recommending.

Great Course! Takes you along with the process of how you can come up with a solution to any question based. Yihua is very concise and to the point which helps you understand the fundamentals of DS and Algorithms and where to apply them. Although I think it might have helped a tiny bit more if we had examples/questions for topics such as Dynamic Programming even though approach/thought process is explained perfectly. Realizing that a problem is a DP problem, coming up with top-down/bottom-up solution was a problem I frequently faced while practicing on my own.

I know programming because of this course. This is one of the best course. The explanations are soo good i can't even say it. I'm not giving five stars beacuse of two reasons. 1st is that there are no hard questions ,also not all variety of questions are well covered. 2nd is since dynamin programming is such a good topic i would've expected atleast 4-5 questions on the topic.I hope they get the time to add atleast more dp questions because this is such a good course for interview prepertions i cant even describe how much i owe my programming knowledge to this course.

this is by far the best course I have taken in Udemy so far among the Algorithmic/Data Structures related Problem solving courses. I basically took this course as I loved Andrews basic course on DS & Algorithms but this is exactly what I wanted & each topic is explained so well.. I jus can't thank u enough Yihua Zhang. Your teaching style is excellent. I just hoped instead of the appendix section where u reference basic data structures & algorithms (which is already a part of another course by Andrew) you could have explained few more problems in each of the areas,
