Pretty but wondering if people are still using MVC 5 vs MVC Core.

By Ritika Sharma on 10/8/2020

Was looking for technical details but all code is explained with one example and not in detail

Informative

It was a really good class. Just a couple suggestions. Before someone starts into the actual coding or following, give a list or document of needed resources to get the most out of the class. For instance, 1. You need SQL Server, and here are the SQL queries to build and populate all tables. 2. You need Visual Studio version ? with these ADD IN's! "I didn't know I'd need database access for the class, so I was missing some elements." 3. You will need an IIS Manager if you want to complete step ##. This is just a suggestion, but I would have gotten more out of the class if I'd been set up with them.

All about this course was well explained and I like it so much. The last lesson was the only one that I cannot follow up with the demonstrations examples, I do not know if this was because the Visual Studio version I am using is 2017.
Thank you so much!

One the best courses for Asp.Net MVC 5, for beginners.
It covers a lot of the specific subject.
But the most distinguished feature is the explanation of the topics covered in this course.
Everything explained very well (at least, to my opinion).
Very good choice, nice and serious work.

The ending of course is very abrupt. We know of end, just because there are no more lessons left. But there are no winding up remarks, no announcement of completion of course. This could be improved. At many places, the proper referencing was missing. For example, at the end, the reference to IIS was sudden. Also, actual examples of code building and certain small projects working could have helped better understanding, instead of only covering the topics. But still, whatever is covered in the course is useful and we can try to apply it in actual practice.

several mistakes that are never corrected anyone who didn't know .net before watching this would have a very hard time trying to follow along when the some code he writes is wrong and never shown being fixed
