I had a number problems with this course: Courses were out of order, the Q&A section did not appear to be able to filter on any specific section, solutions in Q&A were provided outside of the platform, making it impossible for others to learn from the threads, and testing was never covered.

The instructions from the instructor are very clear and it is easy to follow

A lot of comments: - the lectures were not recorded as a unified and consistent course - the use of ancient erb instead of haml, although if you take into account the indents when writing the code by the author, it becomes quite clear. - I repeat, the code is not formatted, which is not the best description of the author - variable names are clearly not the programmer's ruby

Really good course! Instructor takes a different view and explains everything well.

Not holding to rails typing convention is bugging me. Sometimes he just skips over things that can be useful. for instance the bootstrap integration.

By Sriram Abhinav on 9/18/2024

Every topic is explained in a clear and detailed way, leaving nothing out. Truly, congratulations on such a well-structured and complete course!

I feel that this course is more a reference than a pure beginner's course. The trainer does neither explain some not so obvious Ruby syntax nor Bootstrap classes. Furthermore, he copy-pastes code that he explains afterwards. This helps me to keep the focus and not get tired while typing trivial code. With having opened the official Rails documentation the course is a good companion to understand the documentation in a broader context, it's structure and the terminologies.

By Hammad Khalid on 6/27/2024

Initially, I gave it 5 stars, but now I am changing my rating. The reason is that while the instructor focused well on the core concepts, he missed mentioning a few things. For example, in section 19, while adding Bootstrap files, we also had to add a new file named "custom_fn.js" in the JavaScript folder. Additionally, as he was copying the code instead of writing it, he missed mentioning the use of a few classes that were being used. Apart from this, the course is pretty good.
