As now there is Apache Pekko instead, I've been doing the entire course using Apache Pekko instead of Akka. This has been going fine, one just needs to alter the package names when importing classes. I would suggest adding an one extra video to highlight that nowadays one should look for Apache Pekko instead of Akka and what that implies for the import statements.

Having worked for over 20 years as a professional programmer, mainly in banking, Matt now teaches for Virtual Pair Programmers. His specialist areas are advanced Java, Spring Framework, Kotlin and Akka.
