After qualifying and spending many years with all manner of computers in all kinds of situations all around the world, I thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to share my knowledge and skills with the Udemy community!
Over a decade ago I started my professional life in the military where I gained experience with all kinds of computers and complex machinery. But, today, I could be referred to as just a humble Microsoft "Windows Warrior". As a result of my past experience, I find it is best to deliver my lessons in bite sized pieces, and though I try and stay one step ahead of Technology, I find it is always best to walk side by side with my students.
For the past several years, I have been on the front-line of teaching people how to effectively use computers and Microsoft software like Microsoft Excel to improve their personal and business circumstances. And I loved every second of it (and still do)! I've seen the majority of my students go on to change their career with their new skills, or at the very least, get the promotion they deserve!
So please join me on this exciting adventure called life!
All the best
Warrick

The music at the beginning of each video is WAY TOO LOUD and blasted my eardrums out. Then, the voice is very soft in comparison so it has to be turned up again. Also some of this is either different on my computer or outdated. There is not a "dashboard" on my screen but there is a sidebar called "course content" and I seem to be able to click on the content there and download, for example, the "December (2016) Expenses" spreadsheet.

Great for beginners. I wouldn't say this takes you to advanced, but more like a beginning-intermediate level. There's good explanations and good repetition. They're broken up into short and easy to follow lessons.Would love to see some additional homework lessons to reinforce the lessons. And the intro slides that appears randomly at the beginning of some sections but not others is obtrusive. We don't need to be blasted with loud music each time, and the 12 seconds it takes to get through your logo slides is kind of annoying. It would also be great if you mentioned the iOS shortcuts that aren't the same as the Microsoft shortcuts. Seems you did this for a couple lessons with the F4/Command T functions, but didn't do this for the majority of the videos. All in all, a great course. I'll definitely buy any more advanced lessons from you. Thanks!
