Our take
Based on the ratings of 4,726 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in February 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.
This is a short course, about 2.4 hours across 31 lectures in a single section, with four quizzes and ten articles. It walks through Windows 11 features, Snap Layouts, screen recording, Edge, Copilot and basic tune-ups like startup management and disk cleanup. The audience is ordinary users, not IT staff. It assumes Windows 11 is already installed, and it does not cover installing it. Warrick Klimaytys has taught Microsoft programs for years, and the course was last updated in February 2026.
Reviewers mostly like the teaching. They call Warrick clear, engaging and easy to follow, and several say they picked up practical tips and tricks that go beyond the basics. About 86 percent of the 4,726 ratings are four or five stars. The complaints are fairly consistent. A few say it moves too fast or jumps around, one found it harder than the narrator suggests, and one wanted more depth and hands-on examples. Another was thrown by video editing content that did not seem to belong.
At 2.4 hours it is a quick way to fill gaps, not a full training program. One reviewer who felt like a pro said there was still plenty they did not know, while another called it a truly beginner course. Pace is the sticking point, since a couple of reviewers found it fast, so pausing often may help. It is a fair pick for casual users who want more from Windows 11 and a first look at Copilot. Look elsewhere for troubleshooting depth or IT career prep.

Hi, my name is Warrick Klimaytys
I’m a full-time course creator specializing in Microsoft programs, operating systems, and video editing.
Over the years, I've worked across a variety of industries and technical roles, giving me practical experience with the software and skills I now teach. My goal is to provide practical, real-world knowledge that students can apply immediately.
For the past several years, I've been helping people learn Microsoft programs such as Microsoft Excel and Windows to improve their personal circumstances.
As a result of taking many courses myself, I learned how frustrating it can be to not understand what is being taught.
To avoid this happening in my own courses, I deliver my lessons in bite-sized pieces and try my best to walk side by side with my students. This way I get to know their learning requirements, so we can both move towards a common target, the target of success!

The Windows 11 From Beginner to Advanced (2025) course offers a solid overview of the operating system, with clear explanations and practical tips. It’s great for users transitioning from older versions or looking to boost productivity. While some sections could benefit from more depth or hands on examples, overall it’s a helpful and well structured course.

Truly a beginner course. The presentation is engaging and the content is easy to understand. It's nice to have a human presenting the material instead of a robot like some of the other courses on Udemy.

I just got a new laptop with Windows 11 and Co Pilot loaded. I've been avoiding Copilot but now I'll play around with it. I'll wait until I'm not in class because I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions. Good to know this, thank you.

Easy to fallow along. However. Section 21 - copy the command. I guess I copied and left before the "1 minute" was up and didn't show that as completed. So I thought I completed the course but boss said no. Had to figure out that I had to sit on the screen for the 1 minute to pass. Can you put a note for that so others just don't copy and move on?

Nice course on Win 11 use and where to find what. For experienced IT users, there may be a lot you already know, but due to the new design it's great to have a course like this to get a short overview and learn what's possible and what kind of knowledge from older version you can reuse. Thank you.

very informative! the material was presented in plain terms. Easy to understand, despite the topics sometimes getting a little more complex than you might first assume. Overall very well done.

I've been using Windows10 and previous versions of Windows for many years and some content seemed like it wasn't new feature of Windows11. Nevertheless, I've learned some features I haven't used yet and the course brushed me up on what I've already known.

Hi Warrick Sir, Greatful for the knowledge on windows 11. Me and my friends liked the pictures and photos you have shared :) . I will definately give advice about course to friends to enroll in the same course. One more thing to notice is that I was not able to use video editor. Options were not appearing to me. Whenever I opened video editor I always received pop up to download Clipchamp. Please do let me know if there is another way to use video editor. Looking forward to connect with you more. Thanks and Regards, Atish Lohade

I've been using Windows 11 on a newly purchased laptop for about two months. I found this course partly useful, but overall not up to what I was looking for. As a long-time Windows 10 user, I would have preferred more content detailing the differences between 10 and 11.
