Course Description
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) is an integrated environment for managing any SQL infrastructure. Use SSMS to access, configure, manage, administer, and develop all components of SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics. SSMS provides a single comprehensive utility that combines a broad group of graphical tools with a number of rich script editors to provide access to SQL Server for developers and database administrators of all skill levels.
SQL Server Management Studio enables you to manage Analysis Services objects, such as performing back-ups and processing objects.
Management Studio provides an Analysis Services Script project in which you develop and save scripts written in Multidimensional Expressions (MDX), Data Mining Extensions (DMX), and XML for Analysis (XMLA). You use Analysis Services Scripts projects to perform management tasks or re-create objects, such as database and cubes, on Analysis Services instances. For example, you can develop an XMLA script in an Analysis Services Script project that creates new objects directly on an existing Analysis Services instance. The Analysis Services Scripts projects can be saved as part of a solution and integrated with source code control.
SQL Server Management Studio enables you to use the Integration Services service to manage packages and monitor running packages. You can also use Management Studio to organize packages into folders, run packages, import and export packages, migrate Data Transformation Services (DTS) packages, and upgrade Integration Services packages.

very good intro, might learn more in the future, but gave us the basic on how not to be scared when using SSMS. there were only 2 parts on the series that it did not work out for me because it was always giving me errors, but I continued because progress is better than perfection. Thanks your help.

Good basic training for the use of SSMS. However, there seems to be a part missing in the last chapter regarding loading the dbo.RoomReservations

The course was excellent overall. However, one star is withheld due to the lack of resources for data filtration. Additionally, the addition of new data sets without corresponding resources made it challenging to comprehend the final video lecture on the relationship concept between primary and Foreign keys. This issue rendered the video unsuitable for beginners or those new to the subject matter.

Very good beginner course for SSMS covering installation, creating accounts and importing data. Loved the detailed explanation of the settings and options available for database and table creation. Exceeded my expectations.

Presenter spoke in distinct, easy to understand manner. Pacing was great for a beginner. Instead of spending time on creating a new user account and resetting SA account, time would have been better spent on greater detail creating tables and relationships.

I have installed same SQL but i cannot access Table... So I tried to skip that part, then continued with 11 ( import data ) i created same table but when i browse no excel file available from my side :(

I am an absolute SQL beginner. This is a good (average) beginner course. As the adage goes, we learn by doing, the course is lacking the steps (Section 2 Module 9 Guest ID that came out of nowhere) and lacks the csv file files for import. I typed them into excel and imported with time that would have been better spent learning. However, the instructor did explain some key points and principles that will lay a better foundation as I go to my 2nd more advanced course. Overall good to get your feet wet and help improve confidence for the next course. If the journey of a thousand miles begins with but a single step, this course is that step, but I still have 999.99 miles to go.

My boss asked me to build a database application with having zero experience. This is helping me cut my development time in half!
By Naveen Kumar on 8/12/2021
Was very easy to follow, however would have been of help if the files used were also shared so that the learner could practice alongside and gain better understanding of the concepts being taught.
