Music + Audio Production in Logic Pro X - The Complete Guide (Udemy.com)

I've been using Logic for a year and a half trying to learn on YouTube and other free sources. But taking this class has been the best choice for me!! Many of the basic lessons (such as balance your tracks at -18db) are not told by other peoples. Others I feel almost want you to be confused. Also, you told me the notion of recording "hot" is an old principle no longer used with digital recording. THANK YOU!!! I really appreciate your attention to detail for explaining the principles your teach. This class rocks!

The information given is good, relevant and it is explained well. At the time that I took the course it was in need of an update and some of the videos lacked minor editing. Really this didn't take away from the information given but it did make you wonder why you had paid for a course that seemed unpolished. I would still recommend the course as long as you are not paying full price for it.

Coming from knowing pretty much NOTHING about Audio Production in Logic to finding this course, it pretty much has revealed SO MUCH I didn't know. Tools in the DAW I didn't even know existed that I didn't know I had access were brought to light. I still have so so much to learn but having this now as a resource is Life, or, may I say, Mix Saving. Very glad to have discovered this.

This course has been a lot of fun and extremely helpful. Other than purchasing LogicX and experimenting on my own, I had no previous experience. Since I've started, I've been able to accomplish everything in the fields of engineering and production I've aimed to do so far, thanks to Rob's thorough and meticulous instruction. His approach and demeanor also make for an excellent learning experience and his pacing is just right. It's been great.

The music is just so horrible, and I really wanted to quit this course just because of that. The knowledge is great. I was literally losing my mind listening to "now lo-uh-uh-ve dont come easy easy, slow ...YOU MADE A BAD PAN OUT OF ME!!! and I can hardly breeheeeheeeeeee" over and over again.

Great course, in depth and covered so much about Logic and production in general. I docked half a star because although I could pre-download the course, it actually wouldn't play that way so I had to stream directly. Quite frustrating when trying to do the course on my commute (whilst taking notes). Have done several Udemy course and this is the only one I had this problem with.

Having used Garageband for a number of years to varying levels of success I decided to upgrade and stop relying on others to record my songs. I was looking for a course that would teach me how to use Logic Pro and all aspects of it, and this course does exactly that and a whole lot more. This course is extensive and Rob's friendly yet to the point teaching style is perfect. This course is a must see for anyone wanting to know how to get the most out of Logic, arm themselves with powerful skills, and stop relying on others to create great sounding music.

As a newbie in Logic, the course has really helped me to get started and explore all the capabilities of the software. The topics cover the majority of functions and are often very well explained. Will be coming back to it without a doubt. One thing I would have liked to be improved is the exercises. A lot of the times Rob (the teacher) was saying 'and now apply this to your own mix' or 'have a play around with those settings'. Also, Rob showing us how he comes up with ideas and develops them into full songs would also be a nice touch. However, seeing how much other stuff Rob is giving away for free on his websites and YT, I can't really complain and still think this is a fantastic course.

I have been doing music from time to time since 15 years. During this time I have had soooo many questions.. of course.. this is not my area... but it´s something I really enjoy to do... I would recommend this course 100%... why? - It´s clear - It´s for beginners and for people with some knowledge - Resources are great - Rob explains in a super clear way - He gives many tips on how to do the things in the best way. In this course, Rob has clarified many questions I have had since long time ago. It´s just great! You will not lose your money. It totally worth every penny. Thanks, Rob! Cheers, Luis.

Very good course. It really breaks Logic X down into manageable chunks. I found it best to dip in and out of the course over several weeks while trying stuff out in practice, otherwise there is a huge amount of informationto absorb. Rob is also a great teacher and explains concepts very clearly. One downside is that questions/comments don't seem to get answered.
