[NEW] Master Microservices with SpringBoot,Docker,Kubernetes (Udemy.com)

Learn & Develop Microservices with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Microservices Security

Created by: Eazy Bytes

Last updated August 2026

Our take

Based on the ratings of 14,248 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in August 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.

This is a long, tool-heavy walk through the Spring microservices stack, from splitting up a monolith to deploying on Kubernetes in Google Cloud. It runs about 40 hours across 282 lectures and 21 sections, taught by Eazy Bytes, with Madan Reddy as co-instructor. The prerequisites are real: basic Java and Spring. One reviewer says freshers will find it hard to catch up, and the syllabus fits that, since it ranges from Docker and Helm to Istio and mTLS.

Reviewers keep coming back to the same praise. Explanations are clear, the examples feel practical, and the config server, Eureka and service mesh sections get specific thanks. One calls it strong fundamentals, and another says it is best for interview preparation. Of 14,248 ratings, 8,674 are five stars and 4,537 are four stars, with only 185 at one or two. The complaints are fair ones. One reviewer found security, observability, Kafka and RabbitMQ too complex. And a three-star reviewer finished all 40 hours without a deployed project to show on a resume.

The course was last updated in August 2026. It is a paid course, so check the live price against the length. Our read is that it suits a Java developer who already knows Spring and wants one course that covers the whole stack, and who is happy to build a project of their own afterward. Anyone who wants a single app built and shipped from start to finish may feel something is missing.

Best forJava developers who know basic Spring and want the whole microservices stack, Docker to Helm, in one place.
Skip it ifYou want one real app built and deployed start to finish, or you are new to Java and Spring.

Pros

  • Covers the full stack in one place: config, discovery, gateway, resilience, security, Kafka, Kubernetes, Helm
  • Reviewers say explanations are clear and use live examples, including for service mesh and discovery
  • Updated in August 2026, with a large student base of 104,745 and 14,248 ratings
  • Reviewers say it gives strong fundamentals and suits interview preparation

Cons

  • No single real project built and deployed along the way, which one reviewer wanted for a resume
  • Security, observability, Kafka and RabbitMQ sections felt too complex to one reviewer
  • Assumes Java and Spring knowledge, so true beginners may struggle to keep up
This course greatly broadened my perspective on modern software architecture, cloud-native development, and distributed systems.
Tayza Thiha, a student

Labeled all levels, but it needs Java and basic Spring. Fresh beginners will struggle, as one reviewer says.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the Best Microservices Courses on Udemy! I genuinely loved learning this course with you. At the beginning, I honestly felt overwhelmed because microservices is such a vast topic, and the course is quite comprehensive. There were times when I thought I wouldn't be able to finish it. But thanks to your dedication, clear explanations, and the effort you put into every lecture, I finally completed the entire course. Microservices is like a vast ocean, and this course taught me how to swim in it. Today, I feel confident navigating that ocean, and I'm truly grateful for that. A special thanks for Sections 19 and 20. Those sections completely changed my mindset as a developer. You encouraged us to keep learning advanced topics instead of thinking, "I'm not at that level yet." That advice was incredibly valuable and motivated me to push beyond my comfort zone. I really appreciate the knowledge and guidance you shared in those sections. The rest of the course is equally outstanding. Every topic is explained in depth, including: - Building microservices from scratch - Creating Docker images and Docker Compose files - Cloud-native applications - Client-side load balancing - API Gateway - Observability and monitoring with Grafana - Microservices security - Event-driven microservices - Kubernetes - Helm - Cloud Kubernetes clusters Every section focuses deeply on its topic, and I never felt like anything important was skipped. After completing this course, I truly feel like a microservices developer. I now understand the complete microservices ecosystem from A to Z, and I feel much more confident in both building real-world applications and cracking microservices interviews. Thank you so much for creating such an incredible course. Your hard work has made a real difference in my learning journey. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to master Java Microservices and Cloud-Native development!

This is undoubtedly one of the best courses available online. By following this material, students can thoroughly master the complete range of microservices concepts. The instructor demonstrates exceptional expertise across all topics, and the regular course updates make the content highly relevant. Thank you for providing such an outstanding learning resource

This course exceeded my expectations. The instructor explains concepts in a clear and easy-to-understand way, making even complex topics accessible for beginners. The lessons are well-structured, practical, and engaging, with real-world examples that helped me apply what I learned immediately. I especially appreciated the step-by-step approach and the quality of the course materials. I feel much more confident in my skills after completing this course. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn this subject effectively and at their own pace. Thanks to the instructor for creating such a valuable learning experience!

hi @Madan, Thanks for this course. I have gone through the sections which were required for my project. One thing if you can take it positively, some sections you had made were too complex like security, observabiility, kafka or rabbit mq. Please make it simple.

With this course i have learned a lot about Microservices, Docker and Kubernetes. Madan taught the best practices and always referred to the official documentation. I had no issue running the code locally, it is very well maintained on GitHub. The course is very well organized and have all i need to start building scalable and easy-to-maintain microservices. Thank you Madan, for this comprehensive course.

By Jan Kotek on 4/27/2026

This course is a gem. The GitHub code runs smoothly and is updated regularly; I had no issues running the examples, which made learning fast and enjoyable. The PDF slides are great study aids. The lessons follow a clear, logical progression from basics to proficiency. The pace is excellent — the instructor explains key details while skipping unnecessary boilerplate. Best of all, you build a fully working project and gain practical skills for developing cloud‑native microservices.

By Mahreen Asama on 4/24/2026

Overall, it was good. Concepts understanding & clearance is great, BUT it would be really nice if instructor develops a real-life project side by side and deploy it as well (on some free available servers) in order to help people to add this wonderful microservices project in their resume. I personally took this course to add a microservices project to my resume, and I'm sad that even after completing 40 hours of course work I somehow can't add some real deployed microservices project to my resume... If there is any such opportunity available (to develop & deploy a full fledge microservices project to add in resume) please let me know!

This is one of those courses that every Java developer should take. Madan is a very detail-oriented instructor, and in this course he clearly demonstrates both his expertise and his deep command of the subjects being taught. There is an excellent balance between theory and hands-on practice. In my opinion, this is some of the most relevant knowledge for microservices development. Even though in recent years the industry has shifted strongly toward the use of AI, the theoretical and practical concepts covered in this course will remain highly relevant for a long time. Congratulations, Madan, and thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge through this course. For my taste, it is very good, practical, and truly eye-opening.
