very great course to learn the new features which are very important to learn to reduce the lines of code to do something and to enhance the readability of the code, doing a complex operation by streams and lamda expressions in just one or two lines make you feel their benefit and EaZy through them in very amazing manner

Madan Reddy explains things in an easy-to-understand and precise manner. As soon as I have a question in my mind about a topic, he answers the question in the next sentence or paragraph. Going through the course, I felt enlightened about features I thought I knew, but I found I did not have a full understanding of them. Thanks to Madan Reddy's explanation, I feel more confident about Java in general. I highly recommend this course to all Java developers. Java 8 was a significant milestone for the Java platform. This course helps you to understand why that is the case.

Great course to brush up the new features in Java 7 & 8. If you are trying to learn Springboot microservice, design patterns associated with that, then start with this course to learn lamda, functional programming. Not so indepth but gives you the perfect start. Practice more and get set for the pardigm shift.

Very good and detailed course. I am also learning another course from the Instructor and that is also very good. Instructor explains very well and thoroughly each and every small things which ensures you understand very well. I will request the instructor to launch few more course on Java Programming from the basics and interview questions for experienced people. Overall I like this course very much.

Very interesting and this is about what I was looking for. But, the trainer is often difficult to understand and automatic subtitles are of poor quality.

He teaches good but code keeps already ready.. i am not that used to it...i mean i dont like.. code should be written along with the video as teacher does in class.. it became bad habit.. but i do like it..maybe most of the tutorials also follows that only... anyway.. Good content.

Now I am preparing of 1Z0-819 OCPJP SE 11 certification. Could you please share the link to learn for this certification or can you share the Java 9,10, 11 new features tutorial link ?

I came to this course as a Java 1.5 coder with 10+ years of Java, then I switched to Scala and then Python, and 5-6 years later was asked to write some Java code again (as part of a Java+Python combined system), and code reviewers pointed out many areas where I could use Java 7 and 8 idioms which I was unfamiliar with. Overall I think I got a lot from this course, instructor really takes time to drive home each concept, and the github code is also very helpful. The progression is sometimes slow, sometimes I feel my mind wandering through all the repetitions to reinforce the same concept in different ways, but overall it is more helpful then a problem.

I had a very hard time to understand his English. In fact, I had to turn on cc to read what he was saying. Suggestion - I wish it had some real world examples that people use. Also connection to a database would have ben helpful. He covered Streams which was good.

This course helped me how to make use of lamda expresssions and streams and to fix the performance issues. Good explanation with multiple examples. We are eagerly waiting for other courses related to java 9 and other advanced features so that we can develop the applications efficiently.
