Learn Maven and Ant the easy way! (Udemy.com)

I think the instructor did a good job of covering most, if not all, the aspects of Maven and Ant. I would have liked to have had more exercises on most of the sections. It might have doubled the length of the course but I would have retained more of the information presented.

For someone new to ANT and MAVEN, and to the whole automation of build process, this was a bit difficult to follow as too many concepts covered in such short time. Having said that, the instructor is very knowledgeable on the subject matter and provided detailed information on every section. overall an excellent course.

you are too good at what you are teaching. Thank you for making it simpler. i have been practicing parallel to the recordings of your session. I felt easy and comfortable. Is there a way to download all the examples you have run..? that would really help me to remember.

The course gives a good overview of the capabilities of Ant and Maven. The concepts are well explained and with small examples that show the implementation of the concept. Some content on top about multi module projects would have been nice and how to actually deploy to a running tomcat instance.

Explanation is not in detail just showing up code. Didn't explain master POM, new phase, most widely used plugins like dependency, eclipse, site generation etc. Lots of time is spent in explaining simple thing of dependecy handling done by maven.

So far I like the explanations. We're dealing with converting legacy technology ie ant into maven and in the future springboot at work. And as a recent grad we didn't cover legacy technologies so this experience is a lifesaver as it will allow me to have a career boost. Thanks to this udemy course I now can learn about legacy technology so I can apply the knowledge to the re-writing of the stack :)

Great course. The concepts are explained in depth and from different angles, which helped immensely in understanding the topics. Most importantly, the lectures are not scripted, which shows that this instructor is competent and knows what he is talking about. Nowadays, unfortunately, most Udemy instructors would read from a script while recording the lectures. For me, that gives an unnatural feeling while trying to study a complex topic. It is not engaging and makes me feel like I am reading from a blog. This was not the case with this course. It's engaging and fun. The typical video time is somehow long, but that is because the instructor takes his time to explain the concepts from multiple angles (and because the lectures were not scripted!).

I like it, the course taught me the basics of ANT, and all works fine, the explanation was clear, i've seen the first 14th chapters about ANT until now, im interested more about ANT for advanced concept. Im starting the Maven Course, only had a problem setting up de basic proyect with eclipse, the error said something related with not found the arquetypes in any of the repositores configured, and in the tutorial doesnt said nothing about this, but in general until now the course is perfect, im learning the basics about maven. Im in the 24th seccion maven course

Great course! I used to be blurry on some of the Maven and Ant concepts. Even though I surfed thru some websites, but the info found was here and there and not very helpful. The course content and material are clear and well organized. It's step-by-step guidance to help learn Ant and Maven the easy way. The instructor was very responsive to my question. The instructor's voice sounds calm and clear. I also likes the useful related websites he provided during the courses for my future references. Thanks for spending all the time, efforts for putting everything together!
