The instructor explains concepts from an experiential point of view. The course defines a full analytical approach to trading, and the instructor advises deeply studying strategies before engaging in trading. This makes the course believable, as it does not portray trading as being easy. Although the strategies used are rather simple, they are effectively employed to illustrate key concepts. The only pitfall I see is that the backtesting is vectorized, which, although fast, can be prone to forward bias when used by students. An event-based approach to backtesting would be more realistic and less error-prone. I recommend this course to anyone looking for a solid foundation in trading with a realistic and thoughtful approach.

Before I start, I should say that I had some knowledge and experience of trading, I was hopping it elevates my skills and I'm also an engineer. This is very basic, you would only benefit if you didn't finish high school and barely know anything about trading.

I have taken almost half of Alexander's courses and this I think is one of his best ones. It provides a lot of the groundwork but is great as the final level course for trading if you have taken his courses on trading crypto/stocks and technical analysis. It really provides the final touch, perhaps other than his ChatGPT courses, which add the new openAI component.

The course provided comprehensive insights into various trading strategies, risk management techniques, and market analysis tools. Engaging lectures and practical exercises enhanced my understanding, equipping me with valuable skills to navigate the financial markets confidently. Highly recommended for aspiring traders.

The course is great. I learnt a lot. I spent hrs to understand OOPS for finance and his explanation of class with real world make the life easy to understand complex issues. The course is very practical with real world examples makes it more interesting.

I've only gone through about a fifth of the course's content but so far it's provided insane value. I didn't pay for the course because I have Udemy Pro with work, but I would definitely buy the course otherwise (in fact, if I were to lose my subscription I'd buy this immediately). The way he explains the content, how practical everything is and the course materials are really helpful. My only feedback so far would be to provide further resources so we can godeeper with certain topics, things like online courses, books, etc. I'll definitely take further courses with the instructor!

Performance optimization and risk management are critical aspects of being successful as a trader. In this course Alexander explains many techniques that are very powerful. A great course, as always.

Yes, it's the natural following course of the 'Algorithmic Trading A-Z'. Professor Hagmann is able to explain the topics in a very comprehensive way! I feel to suggest his courses to everyone who has the ambition to work as an Algo trader and not only, as I think they are very informative and precious.

This course along with Alexander’s entire collection is amazing. If you have a deep interest in python, pandas, trading, finance in addition to an immense amount of other value then DO NOT HESITATE. The instructor is highly knowledgeable and I am appreciative of people like him. Sharing this knowledge base at such a low cost is nothing less than philanthropic.

Great contents with concise explanation as always. Personally, wished that there are more on coding particularly how the oop things work (which was in progress when I did it). Overall, very happy about the course.
