This is a short Oracle PL/SQL course, about 5.7 hours across 103 lectures in 15 sections. It starts with installing Oracle Database 11g and SQL Developer, then moves through blocks, exceptions, packages, records, cursors and collections. The last stretch covers triggers, bulk processing, dynamic SQL, table functions and large objects. The page lists SQL knowledge as a must, and it says plainly that it is not for people after truly advanced PL/SQL. About 99,700 students and 25,239 reviews at 4.5 stars show it has found its audience.

Reviewers like the clear, no padding delivery. Amarnath Reddy gets credit for explaining things simply, and several people call it a good first pass or a refresher. One learner returning after ten years said it filled the gaps. The complaints are consistent. Some find the videos too short and crisp on advanced topics. One reviewer says practice exercises stop after the Triggers section, and another found the procedure and function exercises far from the video examples. The material was last updated in December 2018 and uses Oracle 11g, so newer database features will not appear. I thought that the course was very well structured and covered both the key concepts and advanced topics in sufficient detail to allow hands-on practise (sufficient examples and exercises to both do and, indeed to tailor/extend for one's own learning purposes) and to be a springboard for further investigation and study. I had some experience of the basics of PL/SQL but from over 10 years ago and this has filled the gaps that occurred over that time and, indeed, energised me to pursue some projects of my own.
