Portrait Photography for Absolute Beginners (Udemy.com)

This course was very informative, I just wanted some information on how a camera works, the relevant settings in a camera, and how to click appealing photographs. This course did just that and I appreciate the easy guidance.

The Bonus Section 5 is much more of a general knowledge on photography, but still - the best part of the course. The main part is useless, as the presenter is almost illiterate (she does not even know the definition of bokeh, as she considers it as a number of shiny circles in the background, which she gets when she uses telephoto (???) lenses).

In my opinion it's really basic course. I can find this information everywhere on internet. Apart from that, she is really nice and knows what she is talking about. I was sorry not to have a more in-depth course.

Section 4 and Section 5 were very good. The reason I say it were good because there were comparison of exactly what is good and what is not good. This comparison was not present in first 3 sections and hence my feedback is explained.

It brilliant portrait photography learn easy way and very helpful about teaching learn fab and Techniques for Portraits, Lighting skills, Tips for Corporate Portraits, Wedding and Event Portraits etc.. and video total hours perfect.

This is a course which i wanted to pursue for a long time! And yes, now i got the chance. It's really simple and easy to understand. This course is very much useful to beginners and photography lovers! Thank you

The course is amazing for the beginners . I think It is going to be more laudable if little bit more examples are given on portrait photography. Besides, I want to greatly appreciate about the portion of basics in photography that is added in the course. Thank you

As the course was offered for free I will give it two points - but please don't pay for this course. Its pretty poor. The main section on portrait photography is amateurish at best and really more suited to Instagram type shots, at best! The tutor seems pleasant and gives a few useful tips (color wheel for instance) but technical content is absent - mainly the tutor telling is why she likes some mediocre, royalty free, stock images. The bonus sections are awful - robotic voiced presenter reading some PowerPoint slides covering the very basics. Get a good book on photography and search YouTube for ideas and technical tips etc - it will be better than this course! Please don't pay for this course. I certainly will be careful to choose any course from Udemy to ensure its what I want and the contents delver value.

The course provided many tips and advice for taking better portraits and a good overview of basic photography as a bonus. It was a good, quick and to the point basic portrait photography course.
