Powerful Presentations with Google Slides (Udemy.com)

I would consider myself advanced- intermediate in Google Slides but this course provided me some new tips. VERY thorough with bite-size sections. I highly recommend this for a burgeoning professional who has not tapped into all of the aspects of presentation design and Google Slides as a tool.

Being a legacy Microsoft user, I was not aware of how great the Google Suite is until I started this course. It has a lot of similarities, but it seems to be a bit easier to operate. I appreciate the instructor taking the time to provide the minor details, along with the tips to use to make each session easy to manage. Great course!

This course was right on the mark! The presentation was delivered with a great pace, progression and words were enunciated very well where I wasn't trying to figure out what had just been said. It was very smooth and easy to follow. The suggestions on the typography and images were extremely helpful.

I've used Microsoft Power Point for many years, and the ease of use provided by Google Slides is incredible. Following along with the instructor (it's a very good pace) I am able to listen, stop and create my version on a 2nd screen. If I have a question, just go back to that point where the topic was taught, review it again and complete my version. Couldn't easier and with a quick and through presentation, I am learning at a very rapid pace. Thank you Mark!

Another great course from Mark. Covering the basics through to some advanced features the course is well paced with exercises at the end of some sections. Having used Powerpoint in the past I was interested to see how Google Slides compared and after completing the course and exercises I can say that while not as feature rich as Powerpoint, Slides is a worthy competitor. Slides has everything you need to make a good presentation and this course shows you exactly how to do it.

I opened my Samsung Tab S7 Plus to follow along with your steps. The menus are completely different on a tablet, so I was not able to insert a video link with a preview. It looks as though you are on a Windows pc for the course work.

Excellent program on Google slides. Great not only for first time users, but for those with experience in PowerPoint. The two are similar but this course demonstrates how to do everything you are familiar with from PowerPoint in Google Slides.

Mark's course is a sure thing! The course is, as usual, well thought out and technically perfect. It's worth going through it, even if you have some Power Point experience. You can learn about team working, developing a presentation so that it reaches the addressee, preparing slides so that they are not boring (!). Apart from the lectures, there are also proposals of individual exercises. I recommend it with conviction! :)

I'm a PowerPoint User, but have recently moved to a company with uses Google Slides, so I was looking for a quick set of lessons to get me up and running. I've done classes with Mark before so I figured this would be a good one as Mark is great with how to teaches. I was not disappointed, another great class from Mark!
