A well done course, fun to follow through. I started having already some bases, so I probably expected more, but it was useful for me to refresh some things. I will very much advice this course for beginners and newbies. Bearing in mind that some of the techniques used are a bit old, but nothing to worry too much about. Many of the things explained could be very easily found on the internet. So whenever you feel stuck, don't worry. Also, the instructor's approach helps easing things out, so thank you so much Mark! It was an enjoyable experience :)

It's hard to say. I thought we'd tackle a lot more material on the structure of code i.e. how to find certain functions or a list or bible of most frequently used functions or function which can lead you to what you may be looking for. But that isn't the case. we're shown which functions to use in the lecture without actually knowing how many functions there are and how best to navigate those. The course is helping me understand the structure, but not so much how to navigate and write my own code.

Its a good match for me as it add theory to my Javascript programming. Python seems to be much more easy to run than JS and its very good explained!. Its a great course with lot of resources to go through them in a familiar and easy going way. Thanks, Antonio (PayU.com)

I am halfway through the course and I think it is one of the best courses I have ever done on Udemy. It is very clear, each section is well defined and I feel I have learned a lot about HTML, CSS and Python. I am a complete newbie in Python and it is a lot of fun!

I finished this course very easy it is good if you are totally beginner. I learned basic of python but I already knew Java so it was easy to me. I used Pycharm editor end python 3.X. Part with HTML5 and CSS I also knew from before this course. If you are intermediate or advance learner this course is not for you. You are just wasting your time.

I was impressed with the range of programming topics presented, but was a little disappointed at the lack of depth each topic received. I suppose that's the balance that must be struck in a course that aims to introduce so much material to new students. It was well worth the time, and is a good survey of programming languages and concepts for the beginning coder.

This course is easy to follow and the lessons are easy to follow. I like how concepts are introduced. We are told how they are used and the reason we are using these concepts before we do a small example. The exercise challenge in each section are fun to do and when you complete the section and see something you coded on a webpage it is a great sense of accomplishment! Mark is a fantastic instructor. He is easy to listen to and speaks clearly and at a measured speed that makes it easy to write the code while he is lecturing. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn web programming or just wants to set up their own website. You will get a TON of information in this course!

The instructor is engaging, passionate, and an expert on this topic which makes his classes enjoyable which also keeps the topic interesting and fresh. The course covers examples of the complete range of technical considerations required to get a start on programming for the web which means it covers an end-to-end scope of programming options for the software required to understand web programming concepts. It is an intro course but I like how it covers the full working scope of skills and knowledge needed for web programming.

I'm quite satisfied. Mark's teaching style seems fit for all three styles of learners (visual, audible and practical), and he's enthusiastic all along. 3/4 body shot videos for overview concept into/outros, the rest is on-screen coding with voiceover. Clear audio makes it easy to appreciate the instructor's enthusiasm. I've studied several introduction to (specific) coding courses on Udemy, and this is the course that helped make sense of which languages do what...to use (and when). He says what he's going to do and explains as he does it, goes over it one more time before moving on to next lesson. There may still be confusion about which language to use for 'x' purpose, but I feel better prepared to make the decisions when needed.

I am learning a lot and I am somewhat limited on things as a result of a medical condition, so I usually watch all of the courses while I am walking on a treadmill everyday and later redo the course at my desk at a later time. Right now I have another web course by Colt Steele going on my desktop, but as soon as that is completed I will be doing this course again and will leave a better more in depth review. Thanks to Mark and his team it was a well put on course and will be a good resouce for me in the future.
