The instructor is very talented at PowerPoint, that much is clear. If rating on instructor knowledge, the score would be five stars. The hardship for me was that he talks very fast and flows from one step to the next step at a very fast speed. There is no time to do the work on the "practice slides" as he does not stop for you to work. I kept having to pause the video every 5-10 seconds (and go backwards) to try and catch all of the details, really figure out what he was doing, and then try and replicate it on my practice slides. As the course is over an hour, pausing every 10 seconds extended the time it takes to get through this course exponentially.

Great class overall. It's indeed an high-paced course but both the content and teacher are good and easy to follow. I would have appreciated some additional explanation about the animation options and choices made throughout the class so I would have been able to understand why we chose an option over another one (ie smooth-end duration, delay timing etc...) Right now it's mostly about trying to replicate what is shown. But again, I learned a lot, thanks !

I had also done the Creating Animated Explainer Videos with PowerPoint and remembered many of the points from there this was a good refresher and I particularly liked how you created the Sparkles effect I will use that in my presentations. I have found your modules to be informative and easy to follow and I have learnt so much from it and it has given me ideas on creating teaching material so thank you very much, you are a great tutor.

This course is short but sweet, an absolute beast when it comes to originality! Andrzej knows his stuff and teaches you a fun, engaging and original project to do in PowerPoint - but the real purpose of this course is to spread your imagination and creativity when it comes to PowerPoint usage. Normally you wouldn't touch any text animation like this with PPT but after this content you will understand what can be eventually done in PowerPoint. Loving it :)

I'm only about half way through, however, it is clear that this is a solid course for learning the material. I like how Andrzej keeps each video short and goes over only a small section at a time. Most videos are under 5 minutes, which, is actually a good thing as it is both easier to take breaks in between lessons as well as rewind lessons to go over specific pieces again. Often times online instructors will just make a few large videos, which, makes it difficult to find the exact moments you want to re-watch quickly. If you are looking for a good program to learn video or presentation production but don't have the need or resources for programs like After Effects then his powerpoint lessons will definitely get you up and running quick.

This is the third course of Andrzej's I have completed. I've really enjoyed them all and learned a lot about PPT that I didn't know could be done. I always thought you had to use a template! I found I had to concentrate a little harder on this course, more so than the last two. But, because I had already learned so much on the previous courses, I was able to find and solve the problems I encountered really quickly because I knew where to look. I still have to get used to timing, delays and a couple of the other finer adjustments but that will come with practice. I haven't done my assignment yet but I will enjoy creating my own simple kinetic animation having learned so much in such a short time from these courses. Thank you Andrzej.

If you want to learn how to do cool animated text videos in PowerPoint, this is an excellent course. (Also the ONLY course that I have found.) It walks you through how to create one from scratch. Andrzej goes fast but does not skip a single step. He walks you through the whole process. What's great is that he also gives you the PowerPoint file that you can use as a template and also study to see how it is constructed. At the end of the course you have an assignment to create your own video and post it. It was a real challenge for me to complete but I learned so much with the hands-on project. I recommend that you watch the whole thing through and then watch it again while you follow along. Don't skip the final assignment! It was very rewarding to take the skills that I learned from the videos and apply them to my own PowerPoint project. Andrzej is also really good about responding to your questions and commenting on your work.

I really enjoyed the course and think that it will be helpful in my future video creation process. Andrzej does a great job on showing how powerful PowerPoint can be and that expensive video creation software is not necessary. My only critique is that the pacing of the course gets a little too fast for me after section 1, so I'll probably have to rewatch the course again and pause the videos more often. Overall, a really great course.

I found Andrzej's course through the Udemy Studio on Facebook and was drawn in by the promo video right away. I consider myself an expert PowerPoint user from my daily job, but I didn't do that much with animations before. This course showed me some new tricks I can use in future animation presentations. Just what I needed! :) The pitty is that most of the shown is not working for me as not all animation options used during the course are available in the Office for Mac 2011 version. Not really Andrzej's fault, but a hint on this in the course description would be helpful for other students. I'll wait for Office 2013 for Mac to use some of the features... Overall, Andrzej has a pleasant way of teaching and talking (voice). In short: Great course. I recommend the course to any advanced PowerPoint user that want's to pimp up their animation expertise in PPT. Beginner PowerPoint users should take this course not from the start as the lectures are quite fast and Andrzej sometimes skips some of the basic steps experienced users know by heart normally... ;) All the best, Lars.
