Course Description

Presentation skills can make or break a new business pitch. Imagine giving a new business pitch presentation knowing that your prospects understand and remember all your key messages. Wouldn't it be great to know that you are coming across your very best in every single new business pitch you deliver?

In this How to Give a New Business Pitch Presentation Skills course you will learn the following:

    * How to give a new business pitch that your prospects will find interesting and remember

    * How to avoid the most common problems that plague most new business pitches

    * How to rehearse your news business pitches on video

    * How to use PowerPoint effectively

This presentation skills course is delivered primarily through spoken lectures. Because the skill you are learning is speaking related, it only makes sense that you learn through speaking.

The presentation skills you will learn in this class are not primarily theoretical or academic. These are skills that require physical habits. That is why you will be asked to take part in numerous exercises where you record yourself speaking on video, and then watching yourself. Learning presentation skills is like learning how to ride a bicycle. You simply have to do it numerous times and work past the wobbling and falling off parts until you get it right.

This presentation skills course contains numerous video lectures plus several bonus books for your training library.

TJ Walker has been coaching and training people on their presentation skills for 30 years. Now, through the power of Udemy's online platform, he is able to give you the same high quality training that he gives in person to CEOs, Fortune 500 executives, and Presidents of countries. Only you can now receive the training at a tiny fraction of the normal fee for in-person training.

How long this course takes is up to you. The longest part of the course involves you speaking on video, critiquing yourself, and doing it over until you like it. But if you get to the point where you love how you look and sound when you present it will be well worth the time spent. And having this skill will save you time for all future presentations in your life.

You can begin improving your presentation skills right now. You may have an opportunity to speak out as soon as tomorrow, so why waste another day worried that your presentation skills are not up to high standards. Enroll in this course today.

the course is interesting and informative. would have been better if the background of some video specifically the black one with multiple monitors/screens are changed to maybe an office background instead. the monitors/screens is blinking so a bit difficult to concentrate.

By Rainier Orduna on 10/17/2024

This session is very insightful so far. For someone who was engaged in training and development before, this just goes to show good old best practices are still the baseline of an effective presentation when conveying your concept or ideas in any business setting or context.

By Urvashi Karnani on 2/8/2024

Some ideas to make this video better: 1. Would be helpful to have the monotony of one person speaking constantly broken by adding pictures, photos, animation, puzzle, quiz something interesting. 2. The background with many screens in a dark room was distracting.

I appreciate the content of this course in the sens that I have discovered new tips about PPT pitch presentation. I used to be a fan of Text in PPT but I ha ve just learned it's a big mistake to avoid. it has also been interesting to discover I don't need to overwhelm my audience with data or information. precision, cohesion is very important

I really learnt a lot from this course! I also tried to implement the techniques in this course in my college presentation events and I think even though my English isn't that much nice, I can deliver a speech with more confidence than I ever had. Thanks for this course!

Excellent content. Is the advice too simplistic? Is the advice common sense? His response: “If it’s so simple, why doesn’t everyone do it?” His real value-add is helping us execute and see the value of this advice. In short, it convinces us and drives us to take action to do what he says. This difference is what produces results despite advice that may seem ‘simple’ once you’ve heard it.

It is a really nice concise course. Especially for audiences where I think that I need to use Micky Mouse language, if I put it not so sympathetic. this is often the case if forgetting I'm a specialist with a lot of details. I think that examples of outcomes, esp. of presentation which were public anyway could be nice illustration material. This as well as a one page summary next to your 40 second presentation of who you are. Examples on your notes for a speech and how the video/speech evolved, would be helpful as well. Thanks for a great and very helpful course.

Thank you TJ for an amazing course. Simple yet effective. I am working on myself to pitch real business idea first time and you already helped me to be even more confident. Thank you once more !

By Manish Sharma on 9/22/2020

good evening sir, your expirations and body language is very impressive but some time viewer wants to see some presentation and some different thing with you...sorry if my suggestion is wrong, because I am not a person who guide or tell you. You are a great and very talented .

By Mukhtar Nuhu on 5/3/2020

the best thing i learned in this course is that recording myself in a rehearsal gives room to correct errors more effectively. you will see clearly what is lacking. and that when giving a presentation, five great points are enough to do job, after all people are not going to remember a lot of ideas nor matter how important they are.
