too much Herky-Jerky back and forth. Spending too much time rewinding and re-watching.

The instructor made a MAJOR omission in the requirements for this class. He only notes Python, and HTML/CSS/JS, all of which I know and am comfortable with. What he doesn't mention is that you need to already be super comfortable with command prompt and back-end web dev. This is my first class in back-end web dev so I have no idea what I'm doing, and the command prompt is pretty new to me. He lost me on the section 1, because when he walks through how to install the code editor, he just says to "be sure to check the integrations" but does not tell/show you how. And this is important because it has something to do with using command prompt in combination with the code editor to make everything work right. Because he didn't explain this fully, I have no idea how to even set up anything, and I can't even begin the class. Also important to note is that this class is not really PC-friendly. He uses a Mac, and there are no helps for PC users. Again, I'm not yet very knowledgeable with using command prompt, but one thing I do know is that some things are different on a Mac vs. a PC when it comes to command prompt, so I had no idea if what he was typing in his Mac is the same as what I should type on my PC. And finally, he uses Python 2 instead of Python 3, and there are some pretty big differences between these two. I learned Python only a couple of years ago in college, and they taught Python 3. I think trying to backtrack to Python 2 at this point will be confusing, and I thought I would mention this in my review in case anyone else felt the same way. I can't really comment on this class beyond section 1, and normally I don't leave a rating until I'm done with a class, but I made an exception this time, because I have to go purchase another class with more beginner-friendly information before I can come back and try this one again, and that is a bummer!

Things appear to be working in the video but the "why" is not elaborated adequately, I think. I don't have an impression of systematic teaching of how models and views interact, what do I have to import and why, or for example the urls.py section (when and why shall we rather "include" instead of in-place URL definitions, why are there more than one urls.py files in a single Django project, etc.)

This course is awesome. I loved it although I have not completed. Moreover the teacher is responsive and he has a very good explaining capability. What I would like to recommend is, it would be better if there had been a project submission at the end with a little exercises.

This course is great! I have a website which was not very attractive but after buying this course I created my own theme which helped me so much to get real quality traffic just by changing the theme. Real projects were awesome! I am literally obsessed with this site and its courses. Everyone must try it! Great work! Thank you!
