Course Description

Today more than ever, leaders are being asked to go beyond their organization's bottom line, and onto more mission-driven questions about their organization's place in society. Not that net earnings are being replaced, but more so, today's leaders need to understand that simply earning a profit is no longer enough. They need to understand and help meet a wider range of needs.

An organization's purpose is the essence of their brand. And a well-communicated purpose tells the world why you do what you do.

  • What does the organization stand for?

  • How do they treat their associates?

  • How do they view their customers?

  • Is the world better off because of what they do?

More and more, consumers are asking these questions (and more) of the companies they buy from and partner with. And so, effective leaders -- purpose-driven leaders -- will guide their teams not just to great profits, but also to a purpose that everyone can stand behind.

In this 1-hour class, you will learn the critical concepts of purpose driven leadership such as:

  • What is purpose

  • Why is it important

  • What is the connection between a personal sense of purpose and the purpose you lead your organization toward

  • How to build a Purpose Map

  • How to develop a Statement of Values

  • A case study on organizational purpose

  • The end goal of purpose: Enriching lives

If you desire to become the type of leader who want to earn profits AND fulfill a certain level of personal and professional purpose, then please consider taking this course. It may provide the keys you need to take the next step in your career.

Old fashioned presentation reduced the level of interest, and it would be preferred to see the presenter for a better connection to the material.

As I step into the Purpose Driven Leadership course, I feel a quiet stirring—a call to align my passion for service with a deeper sense of direction. Leadership, to me, has never been about titles or authority. It’s about influence, integrity, and the courage to inspire change. This course is more than an academic pursuit; it’s a personal mission to lead with heart, clarity, and conviction. My background in education and youth guidance has taught me that every interaction is an opportunity to uplift, to guide, and to ignite purpose in others. Whether mentoring in Sunday School or supporting colleagues in my administrative role, I have seen how persistence and creativity; my personal mantra, can transform ordinary moments into meaningful impact. Purpose Driven Leadership invites me to refine that impact. It challenges me to ask: What legacy am I building? How can I lead in a way that reflects my values and empowers others to find their own voice? These questions fuel my commitment to grow; not just as a professional, but as a purposeful leader. As I journey through this course, I carry with me the belief that leadership is not a destination, but a continuous unfolding of self-awareness, service, and vision. And with each step, I hope to become a beacon of purpose for those I’m called to lead.
