Course Description
Hello and welcome to the Python 3 Crash Course, 2020 edition!
This is a high intensity training course for programmers who already know another programming language. If you know Java, C, PHP, JavaScript, or any other language and want to make the leap tp Python.. this is the course for you!
In this course you'll learn several Python topics very quickly. We'll start at the very beginning and install Python, execute a .py file from our command line, explore basic math and work with Python variables.
Then we'll move onto Python data structures, indexing strings and lists, formatting methods, and file management files.
Lastly we'll learn about conditionals, loops, list comprehensions, functions, OOP, error handling and Python packages.
If you're a beginner and you're brand new to Python, that's OK. You can still take this course and get a one hour high level overview of what Python can do and how to write Python. But people who will get the most from this course are intermediate developers or developers from other programming languages who want to learn Python.
Otherwise, let's dive in!

As a professional main frame programmer, I felt that the speed of the course was a bit slow, and the level was lower than I expected, since it was made for people that already know how to code.

For a person who already has an exposure to some other prog language and or already had a brush with Python lang earlier, then this course is an excellent recap course for brush up. The author's talking style is a bit too fast (can't blame the author though), and there is no functionality available to run the video at 0.85 or 0.90 playback except to run it 0.75

I am not the brightest at coding. Had taken A LOT of courses and this one wrapped the basics for me to get in line with Python again. ADHD friendly!

This is the exact course which I was looking for. Because I have programming experience in multiple languages and I wanted to take a fast-paced course which introduce Python to me without losing any important and main content.

Touches on a lot of topics with cursory explanations of each - the assumption being that you know most of the concepts, you just need to learn/review the Python version of things.

Since I had already learned a programming language before (Java), the pace of the course allows me to quickly understand concepts without wasting time explaining things I already know.

I come from the early programming schools that started with computer language, later on Fortran II and IV, etc. I haven't really programmed for 30-35 years and when I heard your explanations it all came back to me from my early Pascal programming. Great crash course now I really want to go deep into it.

Very quick run-through of the basics of writing Python code to familiarize students with the programming language and executing Python scripts. Students definitely need prior knowledge of another OOP programming language such as Java or C++ before taking this course.

Good crash course, fast paced and just an overview.

A bit too fast...not going into things in sufficient depth...otherwise, good!;-)
