I recently completed this course, and it is hands-down one of the best resources for anyone starting their coding journey from scratch. This is a great course for beginners and for people who want to learn more about Python. All the terms were explained perfectly and were understandable. The lessons were easy to follow through and because of that, the exercises were easy to complete. The course, with the exercises, actually takes up to about 3 days. I took 2 days and worked most of each day. Completing the course in 1 day is pushing it but maybe possible. You will get a good introduction to python. I needed to use Stack Overflow for some topics. I also used Net Ninja on youtube for other topics. His accent is hard to understand but doable. The captioning in English is wrong in many places so just listen carefully. He spends a lot of time typing so speed it up to 1.25 or 1.5 to avoid time wasting, at least at those places. The quizzes don't exactly match the content in my opinion. There are enough exercises for an introduction but not to learn python well. You will need another python course but this one is a good way to start. I do not regret the time I spent in this course and I would recommend it as a first quick introduction to python to start you off.

I'm a fairly confident Swift programmer who needed to pick up some Python for a short term work project. It said learn in a day - and I did! Having completed the course can now write passable enough (know syntax, know how to loop/if etc) Python code. Definitely not up to high standard but that isn't the purpose of this course - does a great job of giving the basics. It says for absolute beginners and this very much is the case. Not five stars for a few reasons. 1) Could have done with some more info on classes, it felt quite rushed at the end. 2) The interactive tests seemed to disappear after the first few so the code could no longer be written in browser. 3) The lack of captions was a noticeable - as someone who relies primarily on reading rather than hearing information auto-generated didn't do the trick and it severely reduces access for an otherwise solid course. Long story short - a great beginner introduction to Python, Andreas is a really good teacher, code is clearly explained, all round fab course :)

It is very useful for beginners without any previous knowledge of python. But if there may be a little bit of more explanation about programing code how to write programming code and explaining the programming code it will be more good. And u can add a final exercise using all the topics you have taught it will be helpful to revise and to gain knowledge a bit more. thank you.

A little programming background would be helpful as some of the concepts are not explained at a fundamental level. Parts of the course are also a bit ambiguous, have some errors, and are not complete, such as the Storing Data section and Modules, But overall the course is good for priming you on the a lot of the basics. I used this course as a refresher being that I haven't messed with Python in 5 years, and it served that purpose for me.

I liked the course overall, and i needed a quick guide to python so i could jump in with a team already using it which this course allowed me to do. My only small gripe would be the music at the start of the lectures clashing with the voice of the tutor but it's not a major issue.

Great course. After spending months in machine learning courses, I still struggled because I didn't go through Python courses first. I think this course will still be challenging enough for first time learners.
