Hi, I'm Andreas — and over the past 20 years I've taught Microsoft Excel, Python and the full Microsoft Office suite to more than 80,000 students here on Udemy, who've left over 20,000 reviews.
My approach is simple: short, practical lessons built around real tasks, not theory. You'll open a spreadsheet, follow along, and finish each section able to do something you couldn't do before. No filler, no jargon.
I hold a Master's Degree in Computer Science and a Degree in Electronic Engineering.
Since 2001 I've run Futurekids, my own computer learning school, and I'm the founder of Mellon Training, an online video learning platform. That mix of classroom teaching and software work is what shapes every course I build — I know where learners get stuck, because I've watched it happen in person for two decades.
I live on Rodos, a Greek island, with my family, two kids and a very patient dog. When I'm not recording, I'm usually travelling or reading.
If you get stuck in one of my courses, post in the Q&A — I answer personally.

Like to see more clear steps shown in the computer. for a new learner it takes time to understand. there are no notes so listening to the instructor and trying to understand sp arrows are pointed in bold and more steps will be helpful

Excellent information and detailed steps to walk you through the process. The only issue I encountered was that some of the sections would not play or I had to restart or re-listen to previous lesson for the section to play.

Wow! Your course has definitely take me out of my comfort zone. I didn't know Gmail could skip dots and @gmail. I learnt a bunch of stuff I didn't even imagine: filters, account import/export accounts, POP/IMAP, nudges, stars system, delegation, vacation responder, designing professional signings, templates, forwarding, mail merge, labeling contacts for sending better. I learned the "Inbox Zero System" and the 5 gmail settings to optimize inbox. At least, you covered most of the Support/Training page. I give you 4.5/5 stars instead of just 4/5 since you covered about Mail merger and using contacts label to send emails in an effective way

the course was good and precise , the only thing i request to the coach that slide was not visible in some of the session !rest the course is good and i have learn amazing tricks to manage gmail which was very tedious before !

Definitely a good course, I recommend it. Always gets to the point, without long and unnecessary discussions. The course is more about introducing every feature of Gmail rather than organizing emails and boosting productivity, but you'll also get a couple of tips from the latter.

The instructor was very knowledgeable and gave clear instructions. Speaking just a little bit slower would help those who are following along on their own gmail accounts while listening to the video though. Otherwise, amazing job.

Andreas did a great job with the presentation. Topics were short and to the point that can be easily digested. If there is one piece of criticism it would be his accent. I would have to rewind to hear things correctly. Overall, it's a great course on how to familiarize yourself with the available tools on Gmail.

This course was a bit frustrating for me. Some of the content was presented in excruciating detail. Other content was glossed over pretty quickly, in some cases leaving me a bit confused about how to use a particular feature (e.g. delegation and canned responses). I wasn't always clear on what was third-party versus built-in, and when third-party options were presented I could not help but wonder what better alternatives might be available. (For example, the mail merge feature seemed particularly clunky.) I would have appreciated this course more if it had had a more condensed run-through of Gmail features and add-ons without the slow presentation of how to use each one. And I would have appreciated it even more if there had been more context regarding why certain features were useful. The course seemed more about showing Gmail features than about how to strategically apply those features. It should also be mentioned that this course is a bit out-of-date. I imagine that keeping it up-to-date would be quite difficult.

I have been a die-hard Yahoo mail user for years. I took this course as an introduction to gmail, and I am not in the process of converting one of my email accounts over to take advantage of the tips I was able to discover through this course. It is definitely worth a look. Hopefully it will help you out as much as it helped me!
