A very complete and clear explanation of Python Language from the basics to more advanced functions and operations! Very good for a beginner! It would be great to have some more practical exercises, but I am very glad and proud to have purchased and completed this course to the very end! Thank you to the instructor who was always super clear and professional. 5 stars well deserved! :)

The practice code interface on udemy wasnt working or took a long time to actually work. If i didnt know something, I had to go through the motions 3 times taking multiple minutes just to see the correct code. Also, as a beginner, I found it very difficult tor replicate even half of the needed code during the course projects and literally couldn't do any during the final project.

This is another great course from Maven Analytics. Chris presents each of the foundational Python concepts in an engaging manner that kept me involved with the lessons and eager to tackle the assignments. His clear explanations of the concepts and of the thinking behind each of his solutions to exercises and the final project helped me get the most out of the course. The final course project was a very welcome part of the course. The review and study I needed to do to complete the project definitely reinforced my learning, while providing a satisfying conclusion to the course once I had completed it!

I have been learning this course for 2 days and I'm in section 9, so far this is the most basic python that I need and the exercises /assignment is related to the data analytics field not the random ones I had been learning from other course for 30 days but I missed the details about the fundamental theory and I dropped the course at dictionary section UPDATE edit rating: I'm in section 13 right now, previous section I have been taught numpy and matplotlit only import, but this lecture not explain how to install the packages also the openpyxl installing is not be taught here

I very much enjoyed the introductory Python courses. It is rich of information and concepts that enabled me to learn the building blocks of Python. The assignments were challenging and pushed me to think through the problems and find a solution. I highly recommend this course to whomever would like to start their learning journey in Python. Congratulations to Chris, great instructor, who was able to layout a comprehensive introductory curriculum. It was a pleasure taking this class. Great explanation of the basics/foundation that gradually builds into a pretty comprehensive understanding of "shortcuts" later on. Lots of great demos and real examples (in classic Maven Analytics fashion). I would recommend this for anyone that's familiar with the basics of programming, as you'll be able to quickly accelerate through the coursework.

As I am from a non-coding background initially I was finding Python a bit tough. But the teaching style of Chris is quite in depth and clear. It has taken away the fear of Python that I had when I started out. Of course there is no replacement for continuous and constant practice. Chris has done an excellent job of explaining all the critical Python topics that are required from a Data Analyst point of view in a very detailed and clear manner. He also covers essential general programming tips that will help in better understanding certain concepts. The quizzes and assignments are great for reinforcing the learning as we need to implement the concepts learnt in the theory and demo lessons. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone who wants to pick-up the basics of Python as a skill for the Data Analyst tool stack. Now I am on to the next step in the Python Roadmap "Data Analysis with Python: NumPy & Pandas Masterclass"!!!

An excellent introductory course, which gives you every tool you need to understand fundamental Python concepts and be able to build on them and move forward to the custom packages you will need in your work. Chris Bruehl is a great addition to an already outstanding team, and I can't wait to begin their soon to be released 2nd course focused on Pandas! 5 stars fully deserved (and yes, you will learn how to convert that string to just the integer 5! )
