Why learn Python 3?
Python is the #3 most popular programming language on Earth. There's no software that Python isn't involved in. Whether you want to get into Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Web Development, Video Games, Internet of Things or anything else, Python is the language you'll want to learn. In fact, Python is the only language that can "do it all".
This course is designed to set you up for success in every Python-related industry.
If you are new to programming, Python is the perfect language to learn first. Python is easy to read and write and the learning curve is very low making it the ideal first-language to learn. It's also incredibly powerful! That's why universities around the world are teaching Python.
If you're coming in from another language such as C or Java, you'll pick up on Python even easier! Python takes care of all the little things behind the scenes so you can focus on writing clean code that performs well.
—
Don't learn Python 2!
Python 2 is no longer maintained by the Python development team, and there are no more security updates. That means Python 2 is a dead language and everyone should now be using Python 3. (This course uses Python 3.7 and Python 3.8).
Python 2 was a great programming language, but there's no use in learning it since it's no longer supported at all. That's why this course focuses purely on modern Python.
Warning: Many other courses will try to teach you old Python 2 programming but it's 90% the same as Python 3 but is no longer supported. It's not worth your time to learn Python 2.
That's why this course focuses on Python 3 and uses modern Python 3.7 and Python 3.8.
—
What will you learn?
In this course we'll learn about variables, data structures, conditionals, loops, functions, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), classes, interfaces, the Python 3rd party package ecosystem, virtual environments, decorators, generators, try and except, and unit testing your code. The Final Project
Throughout this course there are several mini projects such as making a small guessing game. That's a fun way to learn Python, but it's not practical for learning real-world Python. Python for Everybody will teach you real world uses of Python from a real world Python developer.
The final project is a machine learning application that can detect objects in photographs such as people, cars, bikes, cats, lamps, and more. Now that is a real-life Python project you can put on your resume.

Very thorough, intuitive and simplified. Explanations were easy to understand and follow. Coding exercises were too easy. Project needs to be updated - there are version discrepancies today that don't allow running the code.

The lessons were well thought out and really easy to understand. I can appreciate the things I never knew before because of his comprehensive explanations. Sadly, the final project is outdated and I can't even install tensorflow 1.* today so the example wasn't working for me :(

The instructor has a very unique way of teaching. It feels like I am learning from a friend. The content is very precise. Good for both beginners and someone who wants to refresh their python skills.

The course is well organized and is explained with simplicity. I appreciate the teacher for his effort and excellent presentation skill. Would like to see more course from him and am eager to take next course as well (Full stack web development).

This course was a great introduction to python and I found that it filled several knowledge gaps for me. Great work! The final project was a bit of a hiccup due to me running 3.7 on Windows, so perhaps you could add a quick recap on pipenv and tweak requirements.txt on github to ensure the correct versions of keras and protobuf are present.

Great course to try out, not only does the teacher do a great job of explaining he also gives visuals and makes so you can practice what you learned. I highly recommend this course if you a beginner or want to know more about python in general.

I am new to Python and got the Crash course from Kalob. Both course I think is concise enough and minimize the unnecessarily information (I have developer background), which is very good for me to catch it up in a short period of time. However, there is endless (not limited to Python) from studying within the IT world. Looking forward to more concise courses from Kalob in the coming future. Cheers, Morris.

Personally,i prefer Kalob Taulien if i want to learn a new subject but unfortunately he only have few courses to offer so hope he will offer more courses in the future.I already completed his python, html and css course and yeah,i can say that he's an amazing teacher, friendly, help you to solve question you have.I rated 4 stars because i spend more than 5 days to fix errors on windows machine by my self.If you are a beginner or newbie don't think further purchase this courses and is worth every penny you spend

Very nice course by Kalob as usual. He likes to explain everything nicely and is responsive in the comment section if you have any questions about the course. If you are new to coding, I recommend any course with Kalob!
By Felix Mak on 5/18/2020
A bit too slow for my liking, as an experienced programmer. Probably good for beginners. [in response to Kalob]: For me personally, I need this to go faster and have more information. I don't think one can realistically get a job in Python with this course alone. More would need to be learned. This is good at skimming the surface, but it's not enough in the real world.
