QuickBooks Online Freelance, Self-Employed Bookkeeper (Udemy.com)

I'm really liking how you teach to work from reports and how you can do transactions right from the register. This makes total sense to me! I worked many different admin positions and have worked in QB a bit. I recently received my Pro Adviser certificate and wanted a course to help me feel more confident. My hope is to grab a few clients to work from home and supplement my SS. I believe this will be a great reference to look back on.

This Lecturer makes teaching so fun. I purchased his course back in 2024. I bought this new version since I have seen some new items have been added. Secondly, I couldn't start my bookkeeping business until March of this year (2026). So I really need this.

The explanations of the who, why, how and where are clear and easy to follow. The teacher's expertise is evident in that though I didn't have the same version as the video (due to the constant changes by the developer- which the teacher explains) I could still follow along a figure out where the functions now reside. Also his using and explaining the accounting behind the way things are set up or are completed help solidify accounting rules & principles.

This course has been amazing to me. I feel absolutely SURE that I have learned so much about the material. The instructor was very thorough and explicit. Thank you so much. It was an excellent course. It’s not the first course I’ve taken with Mark, and once again, I learned new and very useful skills to strengthen my QuickBooks knowledge and professional development. Mark is an outstanding instructor who always explains concepts clearly and provides practical examples that make everything easy to understand and apply. I definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to expand their QuickBooks expertise!

Apparently because QBO updates its pages, it is sometimes difficult to follow along with the instructor and find where I need to be in QBO. Fortunately, I can pause the video until I catch up with the right screen. Something that is distracting to me is the number of typos and misspellings in the examples and text in the lessons. All in all, though, I am learning, and that's why I'm here.

Hello Mark, I would like to thank you for the excellent content you presented. The classes I attended were essential in helping me understand the role of a self-employed bookkeeping professional in the USA. The guidance on using QuickBooks Online and Desktop was particularly valuable.

Very thorough instruction with examples of correct and incorrect ways to do hands-on transactions that engage the learner. So much easier to understand than Intuit's QB training!

The video in the middle of Section 40 did not advance even though the sound continued. I could follow along with the sound, but it's nice to have visual. Most importantly, the transaction QBO file that is to be used for the "Importing Transactions" test contained over 400 transactions and only 3 of them were to be used for the test. I had to make a transaction list myself for uploading.
