Real Time Single Page Forum App with Pusher Laravel & vuejs (Udemy.com)

I would advise against taking this course. It is outdated and about 2 months ago, the instructor stopped answering questions. I could not get the section on JWT for Authentication to work. The course was written for an older version of Laravel. The JSON Web Token Authentication that was used has also been updated. I wasted a lot of time trying to get this section to work. I'll need to look elsewhere now.

The experience has been really amazing. I Instructor is really good. And I understand each and everything he is trying to explain. I have learned alot I will use this knowledge to build some powerfull applications in the future. Thanks

I have many coursed on Udemy, this is so far the BEST ONE, GREAT, JUST GREAT. First of all, what i like very much: 1) Instructor is knowledgeable 2) Peace is awesome, lectures are well structured, everything is to the point 3) EXPLANATIONS: It is so good, i mean right the point. There are no lengthy explanations, just straight and easy to understand. Things that i did not understood well from previous courses, but learned to use them, i understood in one sentence. 4) Many good techniques and technologies well explained 5) Real life project 6) Most important i learned a lot even i am not a beginner, and that knowledge really sink in my brain, because of his good short explanations. Finally i understand things i haven't before. Thank you! COURSE I WAS LOOKING FOR. I will buy now on, all courses on this instructor because he is good in sharing knowledge, and of course i want to support awesome work. Thanks again. NOTE FOR ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS: Even though course is awesome, there are no lengthy and deeply covering some topics. So if you feel insecure just refer to Laravel docs or some beginner course. But believe me after that you should all get this course because everything will be more clear. This does not mean that absolute beginners cannot take this course immediately. Maybe you will just have to google from now and then for things that you do not fully understand.

I really liked this course, M Sarthak explains well the concepts and is a nice speaker (not boring, sometimes funny). The various technologies that are used (Laravel WebSocket, VueRouter, Pusher, ...) interested me a lot and I will use them in my upcoming projects (can be put to use really fast). I learned alot from Sarthak Shrivastava, I don't know Laravel before and was searching for it. I've seen tons of videos on yt before but when I landed on his page (Bitfumes). I clearly understand step by step. I even downloaded his videos as my reference. And now, I purchased this for I know that this course is really applicable to one or many of my projects. This course has quite a bit packed into it as you can tell by the title. For all you come away with it's a great value for what you pay. I will revisit it again and again I'm sure. Also looking forward to more courses from this instructor.

I'm a semi-pro PHP/Javascript developer working on custom projects for my employer, US-based. I took this entire course and coded along with the instructor. I have purchased most (or nearly all) available Laravel and Vue courses on Udemy. The instructor, Sarthak, is talented and knowledgeable on some tricky topics. This course was well worth my time. Despite that I have several years experience with Laravel, I picked up new approaches to which I had not been exposed in previous work. For example, I'm very comfortable with Vuex but didn't understand the Vue EventBus well. I knew less than I'd like to admit about Pusher or websockets; this was a good introduction. Unfortunately, many self-described Laravel instructors are quite novice in the framework and their coding skills. It's difficult to separate out truly strong talent from those whom I applaud for their efforts but are outclassed by certain known individuals within the Laravel community, several on Udemy. Sarthak uses Laravel in his professional life. It's obvious. I would immediately engage him for consulting on some of my projects. No question. There are 2 or 3 other Laravel instructors on Udemy to whom I would do the same but basically no one else, meaning that it's just not worth my time or risk. So, this is a great course. Also, it's a not a beginner course. As a beginner, take the course, but understand that Sarthak is not going to spend a huge amount of time on the basics of either Laravel or Vue. Much may be over your skill right now but will be good exposure. I see no issues with Sarthak's style; his approach followed best practices person all of my Laravel knowledge. That's key. He also spent little time reading the docs to you but showed his process in solving problems. People with novice skills herein should spend hundreds of hours practicing, your own projects, and studying available courses to really get familiar with the syntax and flows. I think that Sarthak is actually holding back in this course in terms of his knowledge, and I'm optimistic that he will build further courses of similar depth to showcase his skills. While there's a smaller community herein for expert content, there's not much out there. I would unequivocally purchase every course he authors, noting that I have over 200 in my Udemy library and somewhere in the thousands of hours logged on the site. Practically, I lacked comfort with custom Javascript classes to extend Vue. I didn't fully understand the global window, EventBus, as above, somewhat weak on notifications, apiResources, and of course Pusher I didn't know. All of those were helpful. Finally, Sarthak builds his own authentication service within this course. While I might use a commercial product in my apps, this was super helpful to watch a seasoned developer flesh out the logic for custom authentication in VueJs. Well done, Sarthak. Hope to see more from you. Highest rating. Criticism: I made a few errors and had to rewatch a lot of content, which was good, but would have been helped by public repositories (maybe out there I just didn't see it in Udemy resources).

Fue un gran curso!!. Ya conocía al instructor desde youtube. Lo mejor del curso, creo que es aprender una forma de trabajar con laravel, que funciona muy bien y es simple. Personalmente creo que falto mostrar la aplicación realizada en el curso al igual que lo hizo en la introducción, porque sino queda un sentimiento de "sin terminar". Y también creo que hubiera sido importante mencionar en la presentación del curso una breve descripción de las herramientas en la cual mencione que "pusher" es gratis de forma limitada.

Excellent course, Now everything became much clearer to me, how to use things like events, pusher, vue routes, and many interesting things, I really recommend it. If english is not your native lenguage, like me, dont worry, all the code is really clear and easy to follow, just follow the course with the official documentation. I am really satisfied with all the course.
