There was one section on setting up a bunch of tools such on your machine. I didn't always understand why we were setting that all up. It could benefit from a introduction to explain why that needs to be setup and what it will look like once it is complete.

This is a very good introductory course into various topics: DevOps, Jenkins, containers, Docker, OpenShift and Kubernetes. I recommend it to absolute beginners in these areas.
By Pramod Pant on 1/26/2020
First four chapters are on Openshift basics, creating PHP project and creating a pipeline in Jenkins and integrating with GIT. Rest of the chapters are of no use and does not add much value in terms of practical usages in creating applications and projects. Moreover, I had to refresh the page everytime to get rid of blurred screen as it was not coming clear in one go, whereas other videos on Udemy works fine.

The various lessions are only touching side topics, without really entering in the main scope of the course. in this course there are only few minutes dedicated to the integration between Jenkins and Openshift - while much more time is dedicated on how to download virtualbox, ubuntu images, creating SSH keys and so on. From my point of view, a complete waste of money and time.

Worst course ever had in my life. No explanation at all. Some better courses are available on youtube without any cost. There is no explanation at all for what so ever. Why we are doing, what will happen if I won't do, no detail. I would say its not even a basic course. Udemy should remove this course from the website and please stop making fool to a serious training seeker.

Yes. I am a CTO and my engineers are using OpenShift. I want to better understand what they are using it for and why they want $125K for the Enterprise edition !!! which i have said no to of course...

Great valuable content so far. I am enjoying the instructor clear and crisp teaching style and pace. The course dives directly into the OpenShift platform, whereas the basics are towards the end sections. Audio and video quality is too good. While, I have some experience working within the DevOps area, I feel so far that the instructor is very knowledgeable and experienced allowing me to gain additional skills as promised by the instructor. Over all great experience. My company is happy so far!

Thank you for this great content. I have been trying to make a decision between the Google cloud platform and Red Hat Open Shift. Syed has done a wonderful job in explaining as well as demonstrating Red Hat Open Shift platform. I enjoyed his teaching style and give this course five star ratings as it met my expectations, or rather went beyond my expectations for the price I paid. I can now present to my boss clearly which platform to choose. Thank you for this course again.

Excellent course so far. Since, I have used Bluemix by IBM before, but after this course, I would think Open Shift to be a better platform for DevOps that my firm looking to dive into. So far the content is good, and the instructor is knowledgeable and presents the lectures in an easy and clear manner. The audio and video quality is superb, and the course is well structured. Looking forward to the same quality moving forward. So far this course meets my expectations. Thank you for the efforts.

This course gave me what I was looking for since my company is currently exploring for a platform, and were divided between using one over the other. The instructor has a very clear presentation and to the point with good pace. As a beginner course, it is a job well done. Thank you.
