Hi, I'm Mashrur, I'm a full-time programming instructor specializing in programming fundamentals, web application development, machine learning and cyber security. I have been a technology professional for over a decade and have degrees in Computer Science and Economics.
My niche is building comprehensive career focused technology courses for students entering new/complex and challenging fields in today's technology space. This is a nice segway for me, since my real passion is building and tinkering with programming languages. I love everything to do with development and learning about new tools and technologies. My favorite languages are Python and Ruby on Rails, and my favorite tech fields are web app development, machine learning and data-analytics (which is where Ruby on Rails and Python fall into place nicely). I wish there would be more coverage on generators and integration of other framework such as using ReactJS as views.

This is a good course but for beginners. I am an experienced java developer so I am looking for something crash course for ruby on rails. however , this is an informative course.

This is an excellent introduction. Unfortunately, Mr. Hossain doesn't seem to be supporting the course anymore, so I don't feel I can justify giving it 5 stars.

It was a great course and I learned a lot about rails and ruby. However, the only issue I had is when the To-do App we created throughout the course ended the instructor gave homework to go do a sample app created by rails website. Maybe it's just me but I would've preferred the instructor walk us through that and teach us it. Anyone can go and do that homework so it seemed like the student was just passed off to do something the instructor didn't want to teach. In any case, I did get a lot out of the course so this is just a minor complaint.

I was able to follow along and got a pretty good understanding of the workings of RoR.
At least enough to confidently start with a complete RoR developer course.
After I have finished that course I plan to rebuild my own website that is currently built in Joomla.
Thank you very much for making me enthousiastic again for RoR!
