Thank you, TJ. This course is a good match for me, but what if you have a boss who constantly shouts at you and calls you mediocre? my boss is tough to work with. I have learned to ignore his excesses, do my job, and wait for my pay. He is only interested in giving you more work without pay. It's not easy for me.

Dear TJ, Thank you for the excellent guidance and advice provided in your course. I found it to be the most helpful resource in preparing me to take the next step in my career. While I had considered many of the ideas you discussed, I lacked the confidence to actually put together a plan and make a move. Let me provide a brief introduction about myself. I joined my current company right after college, about 3 years ago. In that time, I have been able to take on increasing responsibilities and achieve a lot of success. Starting as an intern, I was quickly promoted to the highest level position available to me within the organization. However, despite my contributions and the tremendous effort I put into supporting the company's initiatives and solving problems, I feel I am being underpaid. I do not have a clearly defined job description, and I go above and beyond in my role without receiving any bonuses or incentives as reward. Now, I believe it is the right time for me to start prioritizing my personal goals and financial needs. With the knowledge and confidence gained from your course, I am ready to take the next step and negotiate a more appropriate salary that aligns with my experience and value to the organization. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to provide such valuable guidance. It has empowered me to make a positive change in my career trajectory. Sincerely,

I recently took the course and found it to be incredibly informative and engaging. The instructor was knowledgeable and approachable, making the material easy to understand and apply. The course was well structured and provided a great balance of theory and practical exercises. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to expand their knowledge in this area. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Mr. TJ Walker has explained to the students how to ask for a raise politely, assertively, and professionally, along with some techniques that can add leverage to one's situation. He talks clearly and frequently asks for feedback. Mr. Walker has also provided plenty of examples and strategies for each lesson, which is good. What makes my review four star is that half of the things that was taught is I already know, but it's nice that he still says those things for validation. Maybe for other people this course is much more useful.

PROS: Muy buena informacion.

So far the things that are mentioned on the video are things that my self have thinked at the moment on wondering if I should or if I deserve for a raise, however never actually thinked on which moment would be the best, or either how to organize what I would be saying in the moment of asking it itself.

A short and sweet course. Everything is clearly explained, and there are some good ideas. Maybe it's too short, a Q&A video with the ten (or more) most common/unusual replies ("Tell me whom to fire to give you a rise", "If I give you a rise I must give everyone else one too", "You're already earning more than virtually everyone else" etc) and how to rebuke them could be nice.

All the tips so far are applicable and reasonable. Asking for a raise is not something that you often get a chance to do, but this course so far is providing a lot of pointers that could have otherwise been negative mistakes on my part. He goes to explain why such actions have a negative impact. I've honestly played the scenario through my head many times before and I would have made at least 2-3 mistakes that were listed as causing a negative impact on your boss and job. Some actions could even leave you tainting your future opportunities or even losing your job. I've never known how aggressive one should be when pursuing a raise, but this course has you creating solid evidence to back your request. This will put you ahead of your peers and even if you don't get the raise, come time for revaluations it should put you ahead of others because you've left a positive impact with your boss, and they should know your intentions and where you stand with the company much better. The instructor manages to keep everything very quick and to the point with some humor tossed in while maintaining a very formal setting. This course doesn't just equip you with skills to ask for a raise, but how to be more confident and overcome nervewracking communications with confidence.

I think the course highlighted some very thought provoking points. There were certainly some things that seemed very obvious to me, but those things may not be obvious to everyone and are very important to be reminded of in any case. This course is all about being not only well prepared, but also well practised. It has great tips that can be applied to many situations other than just asking for a raise.
