This is a short orientation, not a skills course. It runs about two hours across 20 lectures and six sections, and it covers what Salesforce is, a bit of company history, the main clouds, career and salary talk, and the certification routes. Francis Pindar, a long-time Salesforce MVP who says he has trained over 100,000 people, does the teaching. It is aimed at people who have heard of Salesforce and want a map before deciding whether to go further.

Reviewers mostly like the simplicity. Praise tends to be that the course touches each area of the platform, explains the basics clearly, and points to next steps for a career. More than 18,000 of 21,043 ratings are four or five stars. The complaints are consistent too. It stays on the surface, there is no practice in the software, and one low-star reviewer called it a sales pitch. Another found the black-screen narration hard to sit through, and one reported repeated video errors.

The course was last updated in August 2022, and a 2026 reviewer flagged that for product and certification details, so check anything current against Salesforce itself. It is paid but short, with 88,677 students enrolled, and it works as a first hour or two before a hands-on course. If you want to click around and build things, you will need something else.

The course is good if one needs high level information on the product and features, career opportunities and certification details. I took this course to get the high level overview and noticed that the course is updated on Last updated August 2022 which is quite old and this is 2026, so if there are changes and new additions please update in the course.
