This is exam prep for the Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator test, taught by Francis Pindar. It runs 143 lectures across 13 sections, about 22.6 hours in all, and follows the exam syllabus closely. Students set up a free org, build a small invoicing app, then move through automation, security, reporting, data management and the Sales and Service clouds. It is pitched at absolute beginners and working admins alike, and more than 104,000 students have enrolled.

Reviewers praise the fit with the exam and the teaching. One says the contents line up perfectly with the syllabus, others call the explanations easy to follow for a beginner, and one reviewer who focused on weak sections says a retake score rose 30 points within a week. The complaints are blunt, though. Many videos were recorded years ago in Salesforce Classic, so the screens don't match the Lightning org new users land in. Some reviewers got lost, a few say the audio runs fast, and one says questions go unanswered.

About 89 percent of the 19,263 ratings are four or five stars, and most of the low scores are about age. The course now has an Agentforce section, but it is five lectures and 20 minutes, so the core video is still older. Treat it as a solid syllabus spine and add a current practice exam, plus a free org for hands-on time. Anyone who already knows Lightning will cope better than a true newcomer.

I like the enthusism of the teacher. It's clear he es very Knowledgeable. But too many topics have not been updated, and are based on the old Clasic version. Many presented sections describe features that are not available any more with Lightning. Unfortunately you don't get any responses to questions you are encouraged to make at the end of every chapter; looks like this's been the case for the last 2 to 3 years. This is very frustrating. So it is very unfortunate that these pretty good teacher hasn't put any effort on keeping updated this Certification course....

THE best course available for this exam, definitely a long course but there is a reason for, it is packed with content, did not review the entire course, rather focused on the sections that I had a low score in my previous attempt, just within a week my score went up by 30 points and got certified! My only feedback is that I would love to see more courses about other certifications.

The environment set up is very different to what was shown in the video. Also, although there was examples of different areas. More context and use cases were missing. Maybe this is covered further in the course but very underwhelming.
