Salesforce Integration with External Systems
Unlock the Power of Seamless Connectivity
Salesforce isn’t just the world’s #1 CRM—it’s the beating heart of countless businesses, powering billions of transactions every single day. But here’s the truth: Salesforce on its own is not enough.
The real magic happens when you connect Salesforce with the rest of your tech stack—enterprise apps, databases, custom systems, web services, and even streaming platforms.
That’s what this course is all about.
Why This Course?
If you’ve ever felt stuck trying to figure out which Salesforce API to use—or frustrated by the complexity of integrations—you’re not alone. Most admins, developers, and architects struggle with integrations because the documentation is overwhelming, fragmented, and not tied to real-world examples.
This course cuts through the noise. I’ll walk you step-by-step through all the major Salesforce integration patterns and APIs, explaining not just how they work but also when to use them.
By the end, you won’t just “know” Salesforce APIs—you’ll master them in real projects and confidently build integrations that actually deliver business value.
What You’ll Learn
Here’s a snapshot of the hands-on, practical skills you’ll walk away with:
Overview of Salesforce APIs – Understand the big picture and where each API shines.
SOAP API – Integrate Salesforce with enterprise-grade apps.
REST API – Build lightweight, modern integrations in minutes.
Bulk API – Handle millions of records with ease.
Apex Callouts – Consume external services directly from Salesforce.
Lightning Web Components & Aura – Call external web services from your UI components.
Streaming API (PushTopics, Platform Events, Change Data Capture) – Deliver real-time updates across systems.
External System Data Flow – Fetch and send Salesforce data to apps like Java systems.
Each section comes with real-world examples, clear explanations, and practical demos that mirror the scenarios you’ll face in your job.

A Masterclass in Clarity and Practical Skill-Building Having completed this comprehensive series of Salesforce courses with Deepika Khanna, I can confidently say this has been one of the most effective and rewarding learning journeys I've undertaken. 1. Unmatched Sincerity and Commitment: Deepika’s dedication as an instructor is palpable in every single module. From the beginner courses to advanced integrations and AI development, her passion for the subject and her genuine desire for students to succeed shine through. This isn't just another training; it feels like being guided by a mentor who is deeply invested in your understanding. 2. Exceptional Clarity and Chain of Thought: This is where Deepika truly excels. Her ability to break down complex Salesforce concepts—be it Apex triggers, Lightning Web Components, or external system integrations—into a logical, step-by-step progression is remarkable. The thought process behind each topic is made visible and intuitive. Her practical examples are perfectly chosen, not just simplified, but made profoundly relevant, which cements the learning. 3. Concise & Practical for Real-World Impact: The approach is brilliantly job-focused. There is no fluff or unnecessary theory. Every lesson is engineered for real-time job usefulness. The courses on Integration, Batch Processes, and Development with AI (Cursor + Agentforce) are prime examples—they address exactly the challenges and solutions a developer faces in the workplace. This pragmatic focus is invaluable. 4. Superb Course Structure: The learning path is incredibly well-architected. Starting from the absolute basics and seamlessly progressing through intermediate concepts to advanced specializations provides a solid foundation. Each course builds thoughtfully on the previous one, creating a cohesive and powerful knowledge framework. The "In 1 List" organization for related courses is a thoughtful touch that aids continuous learning. In summary, Deepika Khanna is an outstanding instructor who combines deep expertise with an exceptional gift for teaching. This suite of courses is more than just training; it's a transformative toolkit for anyone serious about building a professional, future-ready career in Salesforce development. Highly recommended without reservation!

Excellent course. Somehow everything in it was on my wish list for a while and it all come true. Some concepts a bit out of date, but that totally ok.

I have already done the Part 2 and was impressed. Your explanation is very natural and with the pace I feel "Go With The Flow" . I am practising while listening and if I miss a beat, I pause , rewind and get on track. Please keep more and more tutes coming and thanks for keeping the content updated.

"Before starting this course, I had very limited knowledge of integration. Now, I feel confident working with both SOAP and REST APIs. The content was clear, practical, and well-structured. Thank you so much for this amazing learning experience—highly recommended!"

As a norwegian I sometimes struggle to understand english accents from other regions of the world. Your english is perfectly clear to me, making it very easy to follow. Also a great introduction to the salesforce APIs covered in the course, definitely worth the money. Thank you

I learned a lot and I feel like I got a great surface-level overview of the different types of integrations, but I was hoping for more depth on how and why I would use a particular type of integration and how the different types compare in more realistic scenarios where credentials are not hard-coded and business logic is considered. I also feel that the course would benefit from some updating to include newer features (there was zero Flow, and I know it can be used in place of at least some of the Apex). As a seasoned Salesforce admin and declarative developer I found myself thinking of how I would actually use these integrations and I have a lot of follow up questions. I think this is a good starting place, and I'm sure I will reference the information as I continue learning about Salesforce integrations, but I thought I would be further along upon completing the course.

Despite being a SAP consultant, I am still able to grasp the basics of Salesforce. If you're looking to learn Salesforce, this is a good place to start.

The course does a good job at showing how to use the different API and constructs of SFDC , but does not explain the Why behind using the API's the tradeoffs etc .. Its good for a developer at an introductory level but not meant for someone who is looking for learning things from an architect perspective.

The course is the most cost effective one so far I had on udemy.com. It covers the contents from SFDX, visual studio code, eclipse to salesforce login, SOAP/REST APIs’ set up, etc. It suits the people like me who had several years web service development experience in Java and wants to know what salesforce can offer from system integration perspective. The learning hands-on practice in the course is not difficult to follow if you knew Java and a little bit NodeJS, although I knew nothing about Salesforce components before. It provides a very good overview of Salesforce integration for development. By completing the course, I knew where to look if I need to learn more about aura component, lightning components and so on. Thanks.
