Salesforce Apex Programming Language (Udemy.com)

Its really good and I do like the instructors approach. My concerns are I'm not quite sure its a fit for everyone. I have some Java experience so I found it a useful 'refresher' course, however it definitely is not ideal for people with zero programming experience. Also, if you do have Java background, it doesn't get into specifics of Java versus Apex. Also, it gives generic programming examples (name a cat, Vehicle/Truck inheritance), but doesn't really get into using Apex to manipulate Salesforce. Also a few comments about the final section 8, it really gets too intensive too quick. Very advanced whereas I feel it'd be better to break down structure and methods/variables etc, as well as basic 'How To Manipulate Salesforce' in a very basic way. Also lacks alot of 'use cases' on when to use Apex and how. Again, a good course for some basics. If you're experienced at programming or have no background in it, might not be for you.

Perfect diction I can clearly understand you. Can't help but compare, our current instructor in TC training under salesforce is not effective. Though very knowledgeable, he's way too fast, not thorough and his English diction is horrible. Thank God I saw this link on Salesforce ben. Please keep it up!

I liked the straightforward explanations on programming. This is a good starter course to Apex programming. The layout is kind of simple but in this case, it works well to not overwhelm a beginner. This course explains key elements for programming in a friendly and informative manner.

Let me start by saying, do not learn these types of things easily. If you do, this review doesn't apply to you. Up until the last two modules the content was well explained and slow demonstrations allowed for follow along. Then it seems like the instructor wanted to rush through the most complex topics without much explanation. I had to watch several videos multiple times, which is fine, but then look outside the lesson to understand what was being taught, and when I looked at the Q&A I found the same questions I had but no answers except on occasion responses from other students. I don't know how applicable my knowledge would be at this point without additional teachings and practice work.

The trainer has a lovely tone to her voice and had great control throughout. Wonderful explanation with excellent presentation skill.

Coding has never been clear to me before now. She has such an amazing way of putting herself in our shoes and explaining even the smallest detail. I like that she uses lines of code examples, technical descriptions, imagines a metaphorical picture for us to view in our minds and provides the purposes for the knowledge we are learning. The applications are clear. LOVE this course.

Examples in learning.

The tutorial didn't really touch on SalesForce other than Apex being a version of Java SalesForce uses. It's also neither high or low level. For learning basic object oriented programming, it skips, or barely glances over a lot of the basics of object oriented design while going into great detail on specific topics that aren't necessary. It also doesn't have any examples that are SalesForce specific.

I learned so much from sections 1-7. They were great and Deepika made them easy to understand. I had to drop my rating though for Section 8. It seemed very rushed and was not explained very well. I was all prepared take another course from Deepika until I got to Section 8, now I'm not so sure. But Sections 1-7 are wonderful and do make this course worthwhile.
