For me this training is still timely, with the following points: - use of bootstrap like the integration and style usage - use of Locales - templates creation - content (header/ nav bar, etc.) - customers templates - Bonus lessons justified the training with the online store 2.0 JSON template migration

Talking is a little bit fast, been awkward having to quickly jump back and forth to follow steps and to not miss anything. Course is just following along and completing all the required template files, with some small explanations thrown in. Works for me for now, but unsure if the information will stick over time. Other than that, content is great for people wanting a great template to build themes from.

Pros: Great course for shopify to get your feet wet. Well presented. Friendly attitude. Cons: Tutor often refers to objects in the code as arrays. Too much time spent on bootstrap. If you're coding along you'll spend the majority of the time writing bootstrap classes

When I purchased this course and began it, the total time was 8 hours, 33 minutes. When I "finished" it, the instructor had added a few sections including Online Store 2.0 and several videos, making the total time 10 hours, 27 minutes. Highly recommended course!

The course includes a lot of bootstrap as well which but most importantly he builds every aspect of a Shopify theme from scratch which really allows you to get a good feel for using liquid. Make sure you look through the QA section and get the source code to make the course easier but overall great course.

I learned much from this course in terms of the theme file structure, and how different liquid files come together to make the whole. Also, as a beginner self-taught programmer learning the ropes, having some exposure to frameworks, i.e. bootstrap, was a very welcome experience as to how frameworks can be used in general. I would definitely recommend this for other beginner web programmers as a good project to take on.

Absolute professional in his teaching and his lesson plans. The lessons are full to the brim with relevant and efficient code examples, and he talks through every single step of the way which I really enjoy. Before delving into this course, however, I recommend you strengthen your understanding of standard web-development fundamentals. The teacher will not pause to explain these simple concepts that you should already know beforehand, so beginners beware! Other than that, the course is perfect for anyone pursuing theme development. Every single course of action taken has its purpose in his lessons, either to show you alternate ways to accomplish tasks or to deepen your familiarity with common practices used out in the field. Highly recommended, no buyer's remorse whatsoever, I'm glad this man put his all into making lessons worth one-hundred-fold its original price!

Great course overall, Bernard really helped us get exposed to fundamentals of Shopify theme code and a few pitfalls that you might run into while developing Shopify theme, also the tricks to address those pitfalls

Excellent course on Liquid. I knew some of the basics before taking it, but this course was very methodical/thorough around showing you how to do create your own Shopify template from scratch. It's structured very well in that he teaches how to do specific things in Liquid, you practice those things through an exercise, then in the next videos you learn new things and continue to reinforce the things learned previously.

This is a great course to get started with Shopify theme development and the best one I have found so far. Now that I have the fundamentals under my belt and a clear path paved, I feel confident to continue learning theme development on my own. Thank you Bernard!
